N：How are you？Mr.Li.I am your primary nurse.My name is Li Yang.According to the doctor's order，you will receive intravenous chemotherapy treatment with arsenic trioxide tomorrow.Do you have any questions about this treatment？
患者：李护士，我想了解一下三氧化二砷是什么药品，用药以后会有哪些不良反应。
P：Nurse Li，I would like to know more about arsenic trioxide.Are there any side effects of this medicine？
护士：三氧化二砷，俗称砒霜，对肝癌细胞株具有明显的生长抑制作用，但它也有可能会引起恶心、呕吐、厌食、腹痛、腹泻、体重减轻、颜面水肿等常见的不良反应。不过不要过于紧张，我们会对症处理，并且这些症状一般在停药后都会消失。
N：Arsenic trioxide is commonly known as arsenic.It has significant inhibitory effects on the growth of liver cancer cells.The common side effects are nausea，vomiting，anorexia，abdominal pain，diarrhea，weight loss，facial bloating and others.But do not be too nervous.We will give medicine to deal with the side effects and they usually subside or disappear after the chemotherapy.
患者：护士，那我还需要注意些什么吗？
P：Nurse，what else do I have to pay attention to？
护士：液体会通过静脉滴注的途径来进行，所以我会为您留置一根中心静脉导管，以确保药物的有效使用，同时也可以避免因外周静脉留置引起的液体外渗等情况发生。
N：You will be treated via intravenous drip through the central venous catheter.We will place a central venous catheter in your body to ensure the effectiveness of drugs and to avoid intravenous extravasation by peripheral venous indwelling.
患者：好的，知道了。
P：OK，I see.
护士：因为在使用完药物后可能会出现恶心、呕吐、厌食等情况，所以我建议您治疗当日提前进食早餐。我们会在进食3～4小时后再进行治疗，这样就可有效缓解胃肠道反应。治疗期每日饮水量需在2 500 ml以上，并多饮用富含维生素C的果汁。忌食煎炸、油腻等刺激性食物，宜少食多餐，多吃清淡可口、易消化、富含蛋白质、铁和维生素的食物。(https://www.daowen.com)
N：Because you may have symptoms like nausea，vomiting，anorexia after the use of drugs，I suggestthat you should eat breakfast earlier on the day of treatment.The treatment will start 3～4 hours after the breakfast，so that the gastrointestinal reactions can be effectively relieved.During the treatment，you should drink more than 2 500 ml water every day.Besides，please drink more juice which contains rich vitamin C.Don't eat irritant foods like fried and greasy ones.Eat less but more often a day，and light，tasty，digestible，protein-rich，iron-rich and vitaminrich foods are recommended.

N：According to the instructions of the drug，it will take 3～4 hours to complete the drip，so don't adjust the drip rate by yourself.

护士：在治疗的第7天后可能会出现不同程度的眼睑水肿，那时我们会限制您的钠盐及饮水量的摄入，必要时您可以垫高枕头来缓解水肿。我们也会每日观察您体重及尿量的变化。这段时间，请以卧床休息为主，适当进行床边活动。您还需要关注您的大小便颜色及皮肤、巩膜的颜色，注意保护皮肤，防止因瘙痒而抓破皮。
N：In addition，variable degrees of eyelid edema may occur after seven days'treatment.If this happens your sodium and water intake will be restricted.You may also use high pillow to reduce the edema.We will observe and record your daily body weight and urineoutput carefully.During this period you should have a good rest and moderate exercises at bedside.You should also pay attention to the color of your urine，feces，skin as well as sclera.Please protect your skin to prevent scratching the wound due to itchiness.
患者：好的。

护士：平时要注意休息，增强免疫力。减少外出，防止感冒或交叉感染。
N：You should have a good rest and therefore enhance your immunity.You should also limit your time of going out in order to prevent getting a cold or other cross infections.
