八、倒装结构
倒装结构是一种特殊的句式，在阅读中出现的频率并不是很高，但是这种句式一旦出现，就有可能成为细节类题的考点。它主要有三个考点，一个是完全倒装；一个是部分倒装；还有一个就是as的特殊句式。请看下面的表格，特别是阅读技巧部分。
通过上面的表格可以看出，在阅读倒装句的时候，不熟练的考生应尽量把句子结构改为正常语序，这样就不会造成理解障碍了。当熟练掌握这种结构之后，就可以不用转变语序来理解句意了。下面举几个例子演示转变句式。
1.“状语+谓语+主语”的完全倒装结构
例句：Out of our emotional experiences with objects and events comes a social feeling of agreement that certain things and actions are“good”and others are“bad”.
【句式解析】由于本句开头是一个副词短语Out of
，紧接着是动词comes，这时谓语动词已经出现，而没有出现名词主语，所以可以判断这个句子符合“状语+谓语+主语”的结构。由此分析可知句子的主语是a social feeling of agreement，谓语是comes，状语是Out of our emotional experiences，本句的正常语序为：a social feeling of agreement comes out of our emotional experiences。that引导的从句是同位语从句，修饰feeling，属于递进修饰的结构。
【译文】某些事物和行为是好的，而另外一些是不好的——这种社会认同感来自我们对物体和事件的情感体验。
2.“谓语+主语”的完全倒装结构
例句：Scattered around the globe are more than 100 small regions of isolated volcanic activity known to geologists as hot spots.
【句式解析】掌握倒装结构的关键是找到主句然后将它还原为正常语序：“More than 100 small regions are scattered around the globe.”通过这个办法，理解倒装句就变得简单了。of isolated volcanic activity是介宾结构做后置定语，修饰名词regions，known to geologists as hot spots为过去分词短语做后置定语，也修饰regions，属于递进修饰的逻辑关系。(https://www.daowen.com)
【译文】一百多个被地理学家认为是热点的火山活动地带分布于全球各处。
3.so位于句首，表示“也”的意思，部分倒装
例句：Nonstop waves of immigrants played a role，too—and so did bigger crops of babies as yesterday’s“baby boom”generation reached its child-bearing years.
【句式解析】and引导了两个并列句，第二个分句中as引导状语从句，表示因果关系。其中，did就是前面played a role的意思。
【译文】绵延不断的移民潮，还有当年“婴儿潮”时期出生的孩子已经到了生育年龄，这些因素都在发挥着作用。
4.否定词位于句首，部分倒装
例句：Nor，if regularity and conformity to a standard pattern are as desirable to the scientist as the writing of his papers would appear to reflect，is management to be blamed.
【句式解析】本句的主干为：“Nor is management to be blamed.”其中if引导的状语从句在逗号间，是插入成分，所以应当首先忽略。在找到主干后，我们再阅读插入成分，是as
as
句型。首先我们阅读第二个as后的内容，writing of his papers would appear to reflect（他的论文要反映的），再忽略第一个as，连成句为regularity and conformity to a standard pattern are desirable to the scientist（科学家想看到规律性和与某种标准模式相符的一致性）。第一个as前的内容和第二个as后的内容在desirable方面是一致的，本部分可以翻译为：“如果像他的论文所反映的那样，科学家也想看到规律性和与某种标准模式相符的一致性。”
【译文】如果像他的论文所反映的那样，科学家也想看到规律性和与某种标准模式相符的一致性，那么管理人员也是无可指责的。
