6.3　Limitations of the Study

Although Itry my best to work out the problems in tourism texts，there are still some limitations in the research.

Firstly，due to the limited time and energy，this book only adopts sam ples about120，000 words，in which 60，000 words are taken from OETT and 60，000 words from TETT.Restricted by the corpus size，it is im possible to dig all the deep details of tourism texts such as rhetorical devices.(https://www.daowen.com)

Second ly，there are no corresponding original Chinese texts with TETT.So the study is limited to com pare the features of the original English and the translated English；the differences of Chinese and English are out of consideration.

Thirdly，after the features are elicited from OETT and TETT，some suggestions are given to the tourism texts translation.However，how to adapt TETT to achieve equivalence is so intricate a problem that it can't be absolutely solved in the book.Concrete solutions need to be found by further studies.
