N：Mr.Li，I understand your condition.Would you like to try a semi-recumbent position？This position may make you feel better.The reason you have such abloated stomach is that a large amount of ascites accumulates due to your serious liver cirrhosis.As a result，you could barely feel the effect of the medication.

N：TIPPS stands for transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic stent-shunt.

护士：腹水是由门脉高压所致，TIPPS利用分流原理，通过一系列介入器具的使用，在肝实质内肝静脉与门静脉间建立起人工分流通道，从而降低门脉压力、减少或消除腹水症状。(https://www.daowen.com)
N：The ascites is caused by portal hypertension.In TIPPS method，a series of interventional device is used to divert blood from portal vein to hepatic vein to reduce the portal pressure.That will help you control or even get rid of the ascites.
患者：这样就能解决我的腹胀了吗？
P：Will it cure my bloating？
护士：如果治疗很成功，应该能缓解您现在的症状。
N：If the treatment is successful，it should be able to alleviate your current symptoms.
