结语

孤立的概括长安佛教的根本特征及其人文精神，还不足以说明它的重要历史地位，还须通过如下几个方面进行深度探讨：第一，长安佛教在中国佛教史上的地位；第二，它在中国文化上的地位；第三，它在人类文明史上的地位。

如果从长安佛教在中国佛教史上的地位来评价的话，那么，中国佛教的最高理论形态是中国化的佛教，中国化的佛教最主要的表现形式就是具有中国特色的佛教宗派。在目前学术界公认的中国佛教八大宗派之中，其中六个祖庭都在长安，天台宗和禅宗所宗宗经也与长安的佛典翻译直接相关，它可以说是中国佛教精神和精华的体现，某种程度可以代替中国佛教而被称作“佛陀的第二故乡”。因此，长安佛教可以看作是佛教中国化和中国化佛教的缩影。

从长安佛教在中国文化中的地位来看，东汉以后，三教关系和三教合一构成了中国文化的主体，而三教的冲突在长安体现的最为充分。宋明理学容三教为一体的最初理论形态的产生，大量吸收了长安佛教特别是华严宗的思想因素，其容纳吸收三教的思维方式和方法，也内在的学习了华严佛教的思想。从这个意义上说，长安佛教为中国文化的最终定型发挥了巨大的作用。

从长安佛教在人类文明上的地位来看，首先，它深刻影响了除中国以外东亚文明诸国中各个国家的文化构成。隋唐时期，日本、韩国僧侣先后到长安接受唐代文明，长安佛教诸宗被先后传到东亚国家，并使得长安佛教成为这些国家的佛教文化之根。其次，作为世界三大宗教之一的佛教，已经成为广义的佛教，包括印度佛教、南传佛教、藏传佛教和汉地佛教，汉地佛教内在的成为构成世界三大宗教的构成因素之一，也是在世界文化中占有重要地位的中华文明的有机构成元素之一。

由此，我们可以很规范地从学术上明确阐述：佛教兴则长安兴，长安兴则中国兴。

长安佛教的根本特征及其人文精神，在当代长安佛教、长安文化中占据重要地位，常识对其作出理论概括，对重新全面认识长安文化特质，重建长安文化核心价值观，使长安建成有自身特点的和其在人类文化中曾经拥有的特殊历史地位相符的现代化大都市，都有着特殊的意义。

Fundamental Features and Humanistic Spirits of Buddhism in Chang'an

Abstract：The Buddhism in Chang'an is an important part of the Chang'an culture or civilization and the significant carrier of Chang'an humanistic spirits. In the prime time of Chinese culture during Sui and Tang dynasties，the Buddhism in Chang'an greatly influenced the culture of Chang'an，China，and even East Asia. Studying of the fundamental features and humanistic spirits of the Buddhism in Chang'an would be very conducive to the reorientation of the modern Buddhism in Chang'an and restructure of the Chang'an culture and values，thereby publicizing Chang'an to the world and building it a cosmopolis. This paper identifies the five fundamental features of the Buddhism in Chang'an and attempts to concisely clarify the ten aspects of the humanistic spirits of the Buddhism in Chang'an. After the clarification and analysis，concludes that Chang'an's flourish depends on Buddhism and China's flourish depends on Chang'an.
