Station 9:Right Side of Engine(Right Engine Bay)

(1)Start Solenoid Valve RDK-16:It is a fuel injector solenoid valve that provides fuel to the combustion chamber at the initial phase of the start process.When the fuel pressure reaches 0.24MPa(2.4bar),it begins to inject air instead of fuel.

(2)Air Bleed Valve ZQK-2:It is opened(air-operated)during engine start process(P2/P0 is below a certain value)to adjust air inflow and avoid surges.It is closed when Ng is between 90% and 100%(P2/P0 is over a certain value).

(3)Ignition Plug BDH-15:It ignites the mixture of air and fuel in the initial phase of engine start.

(4)High-energy Igniter DHZ-20B:The capacitive igniter converts low-voltage direct currents into high-voltage pulse currents(2000V)to generate electric sparks.

(5)Overspeed Sensor GZ-18:During engine start,indicator“O/SPEED”goes out when Nf is up to about 25% and the monitoring system begins to work.When Nf is over 123.1%+2.5%,the sensor detects an overspeed and the overspeed cut-off solenoid valve shuts the engine down.A normal engine shutdown causes indicator“O/SPEED”to light up again.If the indicator goes out,it is required to press the reset button on the overspeed detection box to light up the indicator again.

(6)Thermal Coupler GR-14:It detects the outlet temperature of the engines and transmits the data to the EPU for processing and display.

(7)Ng Sensor GZ-17:It detects the rotation rate of the gas turbine and transmits the data to the EPU to monitor engine status.

(8)Starter Generator GF-48:During engine start,it works as a motor to drive the engine.After engine start,it works as a generator to supply DC power to the helicopter.

(9)Torque Sensor GY-20:It detects the output power of engines.

(10)Fire Detector JUI-18:It detects fire of engines.The warning value is 200℃.
