•I’m afraid I can’t come over for the dinner.Thank you for your invitation anyway.

•This Friday is not OK.I’ve had another appointment.Can we make it another day?

■Exercise 4:Dialogue Listening

Listen to the dialogue.Write down the missing words.

(S:Sarah;G:Gary)

G:Hi,Sarah!You look wonderful!

S:Great!I’ve been taking a  1course.It’s great!

G:Oh,I see.How long have you been taking the course?

S:2 weeks.3 times a week.  2minutes each time.I start loving yoga.

G:Sure.Yoga is helpful for fitness.You know,there will be a party for  3on this 4morning.Would you like to come?

G:It’s for the coming spring.Everybody is waiting for outdoor activities in the sun after such a long and cold winter,especially for kids.

S:You’re right.My kids are tired of  6and    7.And me too!Is there anybody else?

G:Yeah.Millers,Jones and Williams.Meet you at the central playground on Sunday.

S:  8!Is Tony ready for jumping,running and laughing with my boy Jimmy?

G:Sure!How about having the lunch at Pizza Hut?
