Introduction
In the previous chapters,we discussed various aspects of tort law theories, such as negligence and elements of liabilities, how to prove them, how to defend against them, and possible damages for plaintiffs. The rest of this textbook will focus on certain types of tort practices ranging from medical malpractice to strict product liabilities,to non-bodily,economic injuries such as a person’s mental well-being,his reputation, privacy, and even privileged or advantaged relationships.
Some of these areas of the tort law may have already formed the foundation of other specialized legal practices, such as breach of employment relationship,or interference with contractual relationship.(https://www.daowen.com)
Tort law, like all other areas of the law,is never static;it is constantly on the move. What people used to take for granted in the past as mere personal bad luck may turn out and be proven to be the result of someone else’s bad practice,as when a patient is told to have his body organ removed,or he is going to suffer unpredictable results as in the following case.
