In the English language,most words are made plural simply by adding-s to the end of the word.However,there are some exceptions to this rule when a noun ends in-s,-sh,-ch,or-o.These words are changed to plurals by adding an-es.However,many medical words have special plural forms based on the ending of the word.Below are some general rules for the formation of plurals of medical terms along with examples to the plural forms of medical terms.
