导师介绍
大卫·何，有着50年的动画专业教学经验，一直保持着对动画教育的热情。他是加拿大有名的动画设计师，参与过众多加拿大动画和国际动画项目，并担任重要职务，在皮克斯动画片《海底总动员》中承担场面构图气氛设计。目前就职于加拿大谢尔丹艺术学院，担任动画专业的专职教师，在动画制作的前期研究方面很有权威性。
ABOUT SUPERVISORS
Mr.David How, with 50-year experience of teaching animated film, is a passionate educator and well-known animation designer in Canada, who has involved in many projects of aminations.He was one of the main designers for‘Finding Nemo’from Pixar Animation Studio.Currently, Mr.David How is a full-time teacher of animation in Sheridan College, Canada.He is authoritative to pre-study of animation production.
课程介绍
为期两周的课程，大卫·何讲述了许多关于动画短片创作的知识，如对动画镜头越轴的处理，如何明确镜头画面中所传达的讯息等。教授耐心地纠正学生们许多专业知识上的错误，课程中确保每一名学生的作品都得到了修改建议，同时还为学生们传授视听语言的知识。课程最后学生们根据教授的建议对短片做出了修改。此课程对学生们的个人短片的质量提升非常有帮助，使他们的动画专业知识更加健全，更加规范。
除此之外，教授身上有与规范的专业知识同样重要的东西值得大家学习。一位工作坊学生如此评价大卫·何的课程：“ 在高中当我选择之后的道路时，由于个人的原因，‘教师’是我首先排除掉的方向。但如果我当上教师，希望我会成为像大卫·何一样的教师。”
COURSE OUTLINE
Over the two-week workshop, Mr.David How gives lecture on animation creation, such as management of Cross Axis, clarification of message behind screen and knowledge of visual/audio language.Each student receives professional advice about their animation video clip before making any modification.Students benefit from the workshop both in solid knowledge and quality animation production.Students think highly of supervisor’s personality charisma.One student commented, ’Due to personal reason, I don’t want to become a teacher.However, if I were to become one, I wish to be one like Mr.David How.’
