21.国家级传承人：陈来发
项目名称：英歌（普宁英歌）
陈来发，男，1957年生。19岁即开始担任英歌头槌，先后任当地英歌队教练、队长至今。其跳英歌运棒灵活，动作快速，气势逼人，形成独特的快捷威猛风格。所编导并主演的《英歌雄风》参加第二届中国天津国际友好城市艺术节暨“南开杯”民间广场艺术邀请赛，获文化部颁发的“优秀组织奖”、“优秀编导奖”和“优秀表演奖”；《南山英歌》获广东国际旅游文化节暨岭南民间艺术汇演金奖；还被选派率英歌队参加了北京奥运会天安门广场展演。
21. State-Level Inheritor: Chen Laifa
Item: Puning Ying-Ge Dance
Chen Laifa, male, born in 1957, acted as the dance captain at the age of 19. Till now, he has been the coach of a local dance team. Chen’s dance is smooth, swift and overwhelming. Moreover, he led the dance team to participate in Nankai Cup Folk Art Invitational Tournament. Their show entitled Ying-Ge Xiong Feng (The Vigor of Ying-Ge Dance) won the Outstanding Organization Award, the Best Choreographer Award and the Excellent Performance Award by the Ministry of Culture. Another program Nanshan Ying-Ge (Ying-Ge Dance in Nanshan) performed by Chen and his team was awarded Gold Prize at the Guangdong Province Folk Art Festival. Besides, he was chosen to lead the dance team to participate in the artistic performance of Beijing Olympics.
22.省级传承人：张伯琪

张伯琪，男，1945年生。14岁即参加当地英歌队表演，从扮舞蛇的时迁到担任头槌，因技艺超群而担任英歌队教练。曾带领当地英歌队参加各种大型演出，广受好评。编导并主演的《英歌情》曾获第三届广东省老年人文化艺术节金奖，辅导传授的少年英歌队曾获第六届广东省少儿艺术花会暨第三届亚洲民间儿童艺术节金奖。广东省文化厅已授予首批“广东省民间艺术师”称号。
22.Province-Level Inheritor: Zhang Boqi
Item: Puning Ying-Ge Dance
Zhang Boqi, male, born in 1945, took part in the local Ying-Ge dance show at the age of 14. Because of the impressive performance, he became the coach of the local dance team. Zhang led his team to play in many public activities. The performance was well received by the public. The program entitled Ying-Ge Qing (The Passion of Ying-Ge Dance) directed by Zhang won the Gold Prize at the 3th Guangdong Province Seniors Art Festival. Under his instruction, the junior dance team was awarded the Gold Prize at the third Asian Children Folk Art Festival. He therefore was conferred the title “Provincial Folk Artist” by the Cultural Bureau of Guangdong Province.
23.国家级传承人：杨卫
项目名称：英歌（潮阳英歌）
杨卫，男，1932年生。9岁即拜师习武学英歌，18岁已成为潮阳英歌舞左手头槌和教头，有50多年跳英歌的丰富经验，在七槌套路上形成了个人的独特风格，组织排练有108人之多的英歌表演，表现出很强的编排指导能力，所带领的英歌舞队赴京参加第四届CCTV电视舞蹈大赛，获优秀表演奖和“网上人气最旺”的殊荣，还曾获岭南民间艺术节金奖。
23.State-Level Inheritor: Yang Wei
Item: Chaoyang Ying-Ge Dance
Yang Wei, male, born in 1932, was apprenticed to a master of local rural dance at the age of 9. When he was 18, he became the dance coach in the Chaoyang Municipality. With over 50 years’ performing experience, Yang has formed a unique style in the show. He used to organize 108 people to rehearse the dance, which showed his strong planning and instructing abilities. In addition, the dance team led by him won the Outstanding Performing Award and the Most Popular Folk Art Award in the 4th CCTV Dance Contest.
24.省级传承人：林炳光
项目名称：英歌（甲子英歌）
林炳光，男，1968年生。陆丰市甲子英歌舞队第十一代传人，19岁即参加本地区英歌舞学艺演出，有20余年的表演经验，熟练掌握传统英歌舞的规范动作，擅长扮演甲子英歌舞中担当头锤的李逵一角，深受专家和观众赞赏。为了甲子英歌舞的更好传承，现正积极带徒授艺。
24. Province-Level Inheritor: Lin Bingguang
Item: Jiazi Ying-Ge Dance
Lin Bingguang, male, born in 1968, is the 11th generation inheritor of Jiazi Ying-Ge Dance in Lufeng City. At the age of 19, he took part in the local dance show. With more than 20 years’ performing experience, Lin is adept in traditional standard movements of Ying-Ge Dance. Besides, his performance earned great praise from artists and the audience. Now, Lin is recruiting disciples, teaching his dancing skills.

项目名称：龙舞（湛江人龙舞）
陈二，又名陈那二，男，1964年生。湛江人龙舞的主要骨干，有20年的丰富表演经验，除在当地参与表演人龙舞外，还多次参加湛江市和广东省的艺术节、旅游文化节等的展演，技艺精湛，热心传承活动，通过言传身教，培养了一批年轻表演人员。
25. Province-Level Inheritor: Chen Er
Item: Zhanjiang Human Dragon Dance
Chen Er, also called Chen Na’er, male, was born in 1964. He is the backbone of human dragon dance in City of Zhanjiang. With twenty years of performing experience, Chen not only took part in local human dragon dance activities, but also participated in City of Zhanjiang Arts Festival and Guangdong Province Tourism ＆ Culture Festival performances. He is enthusiastic about imparting the dragon dance by cultivating lots of young performers.
26.省级传承人：吴爱平
项目名称：龙舞（湛江人龙舞）
吴爱平，男，1961年生。在当地参加人龙舞表演已有20年之久，并多次参加湛江市和广东省的艺术节、旅游文化节等的展演，表演经验丰富，技艺精湛，还热心培养年轻表演人员，为湛江人龙舞的传承作出了贡献。
26. Province-Level Inheritor: Wu Aiping
Item: Zhanjiang Human Dragon Dance
Wu Aiping, male, was born in 1961. He has performed human dragon dance for twenty years. In addition, he participated in Zhanjiang Arts Festival and Guangdong Province Tourism ＆ Culture Festival performances. With rich performing experience, Wu is a highly skilled dancer. Over the years, he spared no effort to train young performers, making great contributions to the development of Zhanjiang Human Dragon Dance.
27.国家级传承人：黄锐胜
项目名称：龙舞（汕尾滚地金龙）
黄锐胜，男，1943年生。18岁即参加武术训练，后成为滚地金龙中舞龙头的艺人，有40多年的丰富表演经验。十分熟悉滚地金龙的动作、舞段、套路，且舞技高超，尤善于体现金龙舞的传统特点，在丰富、完善滚地金龙的表现形态上发挥了重要作用。一直广收弟子，认真传授汕尾滚地金龙的龙舞技艺。
27. State-Level Inheritor: Huang Ruisheng
Item: Shanwei Rolling Dragon Dance
Huang Ruisheng, male, was born in 1943. At the age of eighteen, he took up martial arts training. Because of his hard work, he became a professional of golden dragon dance. With more than forty years of performing experience, Huang was familiar with movements, routines and forms of the dance. As a highly skilled dancer, he was especially good at showing traditional features of golden dragon dance. Huang has played a signif cant role in enriching and improving the dancing f eld. For years, he has been recruiting disciples, teaching them the feats of Shanwei golden dragon dance.
28.省级传承人：黄宽银
项目名称：龙舞（汕尾滚地金龙）
黄宽银，男，1979年生。当地滚地金龙第十七代舞龙传人，18岁至今均在舞中舞龙头，经常在民间表演并多次参加民间艺术表演大赛，有丰富的表演经验。由其主跳的滚地金龙舞曾三度获广东省民间艺术表演大赛或汇演的金奖，并获第七届中国民间艺术“山花奖”暨民间艺术表演赛优秀作品奖杯。目前正为4名徒弟传授技艺。
28. Province-Level Inheritor: Huang Kuanyin
Item: Shanwei Rolling Dragon Dance
Huang Kuanyin, male, was born in 1979. He is the seventeenth generation of the local golden dragon dance. Since 1997, he has been the captain of local dragon dance teams. Huang often performed the dance and participated in folk arts contests. Because of rich performing experience, his dancing program won Gold Prize in Guangdong Province Folk Arts Contest for three times. Besides, his performance was awarded Shanhua Prize(Excellent Program Prize) in the seventh China Folk Arts Contest. At present, Huang is enthusiastic about imparting his dancing skills to four disciples.

项目名称：龙舞（人龙舞）
苏求应，男，1961年生。杏坛人龙舞第四代传人，长期作为整个舞蹈的指挥，在舞中担任舞龙珠，武术功底扎实，人龙舞基本功深厚，技巧纯熟，且善于把握人龙舞的神韵。在改进伴奏锣鼓以增强舞段转换的鼓点节奏、把龙头五人表演改为三人，以及增加龙珠表演动作等方面均发挥了独特作用，使杏坛人龙舞既保持了传统特色，又显得更加生动精彩。
29. Province-Level Inheritor: Su Qiuying
Item: Human Dragon Dance
Su Qiuying, male, was born in 1961. He is the fourth generation of Xingtan Human dragon dance. Over the years, Su has been playing the role of the director in the dance. He not only has outstanding martial arts skills, but also has marvelous feats of dragon dance. Besides, he is good at performing the essence and charm of dragon dance to the audience. Su has played a crucial role in improving the music accompaniment and increasing the variety of dancing movements. Thanks to his hard work, the local dragon dance has kept traditional features and become more vivid.
30.省级传承人：李衍源
项目名称：龙舞（荷塘纱龙）
李衍源，男，1939年生。荷塘纱龙第十代传人之一，有50多年的舞龙经验，尤擅长舞龙头，且能出色完成各种高难度动作，还熟练掌握纱龙的制作工艺。热心开展纱龙传承活动，已吸引越来越多的年轻人加入纱龙表演队伍。
30. Province-Level Inheritor: Li Yanyuan
Item: Veiled Dragon Dance of Hetang Town
Li Yanyuan, male, was born in 1939. He is one of the tenth generation of local dragon dance. With over f fty years of performing experience, Li can remarkably accomplish highly skillful dancing movements and extremely difficult tricks. Moreover, he is familiar with stage props making of the dragon dance. Over the years, Li has been zealously involved in passing on local dragon dance, which has attracted more and more young people to join in the dance team.
31.省级传承人：李赞均
项目名称：龙舞（荷塘纱龙）
李赞均，男，1952年生。荷塘纱龙第十代传人之一，从事舞龙30多年，以担任舞珠者为强项，十分熟悉纱龙的舞段、套路和花式，掌握了许多高难度表演动作，并熟悉纱龙的制作工艺，积极开展传承活动。
31.Province-Level Inheritor: Li Zanjun
Item: Veiled Dragon Dance of Hetang Town
Li Zanjun, male, was born in 1952. He is one of the tenth generation of the local dragon dance. Li has been engaging in performing the dance for more than thirty years. He is familiar with the routines, forms, movements, and styles of local dragon dance. Li has mastered many highly skillful dancing movements and tough tricks. Also, he is at home in relevant stage props making. For years, Li has been actively engaged in carrying forward the local dragon dance.
32.省级传承人：饶武昌
项目名称：龙舞（花环龙）
饶武昌，男，1957年生。8岁即随父学舞花环龙，有40年的表演经验，熟练掌握各种舞姿，动作威武雄健，舞技舞法超群，近10年来担任当地少年花环龙队教练，培养了少年舞龙手400多人。
32. Provincial Inheritor: Rao Wuchang
Item: Dragon Dance
Rao Wuchang, male, was born in 1957. At the age of eight, he began to learn local dragon dance from his father. With forty years of performing experience, he mastered various dancing postures, movements, forms and skills. Over the past ten years, Rao has been the coach of the local junior dragon dance team. He has trained more than 400 young dancers.
33.省级传承人：叶旭筹（叶沃筹）
项目名称：龙舞（东莞龙舞）
叶旭筹，又名叶沃筹，男，1930年生。15岁即学会舞龙、舞狮、舞麒麟，且精通武术，尤其承传了先辈的龙舞传统套路，动作生猛，一气呵成，有几十年舞龙的丰富经验，并精通各种造型的龙头制作。他毫无保留地把龙舞技艺传承给年轻一代，为东莞龙舞的传承作出了很大贡献。
33. Province-Level Inheritor: Ye Xuchou
Item: Dongguan Dragon Dance
Ye Xuchou, alias Ye Wochou, male, was born in 1930. At the age of f fteen, he began to learn dragon dance, lion dance, Kylin dance and martial arts. Ye inherited traditional forms of dragon dance. His movements are vigorous and smooth. With several decades of performing experience, he is prof cient in various stage props of the dance. For years, he has been trying his best to impart his skills of dragon dance to the younger generation,
contributing a lot to the growth of local dragon dance.
34.省级传承人：叶伍槐
项目名称：龙舞（东莞龙舞）
叶伍槐，男，1946年生。15岁即随叔辈叶旭筹学习舞龙、舞狮、舞麒麟，精通龙、狮、麒麟舞鼓路及击乐，熟悉东莞龙舞的传统套路。其组建的舞龙队在首届泛珠三角9+2民间艺术大赛中分别获女子龙金奖和男子龙金奖，女子舞龙队还曾获中国民间艺术精品大赛“金荷花奖”。目前他还担任当地民间艺术团技术辅导，积极从事东莞龙舞的传承工作。
34. Province-Level Inheritor: Ye Wuhuai
Item: Dongguan Dragon Dance
Ye Wuhuai, male, was born in 1946. At the age of f fteen, he began to learn dragon dance, lion dance, and Kylin dance from his uncle. Ye inherited traditional forms of dragon dance. His movements are vigorous and smooth. With several decades of performing experience, he is proficient in beating drums as accompaniment for the dance. Besides, he is familiar with traditional routines and forms of local dragon dance. The dance teams led by him won two gold medals at the frst Pan the Pearl River Delta Folk Arts Contest. The female dance team was awarded “Jin He Hua Prize” (The Excellent Dance Prize). Nowadays, he is the dancing instructor of local folk artistic troupe. He has been throwing himself into the impartment of local dragon dance.
35.省级传承人：林益昌
项目名称：龙舞（乔林烟花火龙）
林益昌，男，1941年生。自幼即随祖父等老一辈学习龙舞技艺，后又师从当地名师林吴显学习烟花火龙制作和燃放，熟练掌握龙灯制作、游龙过程、舞龙技巧、烧龙特技和烟花燃放，技艺全面，经验丰富，长期以来都是乔林烟花火龙的得力组织者、排演者和指挥者。现正悉心指导年轻人从事烟花火龙制作，将技艺传授给下一代。
35. Province-Level Inheritor: Lin Yichang
Item: Qiaolin Fireworks Dragon Dance
Lin Yichang, male, was born in 1941. As a child, he learned skills of dragon dance from his grandfather. After that, a local famous dance master taught him the making method and usage of related stage props. Lin has a good grasp of dragon lantern making, dancing routines, feats, process, and f reworks display. With comprehensive dancing skills and rich experience, he has become the organizer and director of local dragon dance team. At present, Lin spares no effort to impart his dancing skills and knowledge to the younger generation.
36.省级传承人：林勤日
项目名称：龙舞（乔林烟花火龙）
林勤日，男，1936年生。自幼随祖辈及堂兄学习龙灯制作，12岁即参加当地游龙、烧龙活动，全面掌握龙灯制作、游龙过程、舞龙技巧、烧龙特技和烟花燃放的方法，长期负责组织领导当地制龙、游龙、舞龙、烧龙活动，多次带队参加各种演出，获广泛好评。现已将各种技艺传授给年轻人，使乔林烟花火龙后继有人。
36. Province-Level Inheritor: Lin Qinri
Item: Qiaolin Fireworks Dragon Dance
Lin Qinri, male, was born in 1936. In his childhood, Lin learned dragon lantern making from his forefathers and cousins. At the age of twelve, he took part in local dragon dance performance. Lin has a good grasp of dragon lantern making, dancing process, feats, and f reworks display. For years, he has been in charge of organizing and leading local dragon dance activities. In addition, Lin led the team to participate in various performances, which was well received by the public. Now, Lin manages to teach young people everything he knows about local dragon dance.
37.国家级传承人：黄焯根
项目名称：龙舞（醉龙）
黄焯根，男，1930年生。8岁起即随祖父学习龙狮武术，后随父深入研习龙狮技艺。有五六十年的丰富表演经验，善于融南拳、醉拳、杂耍等于醉龙舞的套路和动作之中，技艺全面，造诣甚高。2005年出任当地醉龙舞教练，如今虽已年近八旬，仍积极弘扬醉龙文化，在社区中热心传承醉龙舞表演技艺。
37. Natinoal Inheritor: Huang Zhuogen
Item: Drunken Dragon Drance
Huang Zhuogen, male, was born in 1930. At the age of eight, he learned martial arts and basic movements of dragon dance from his grandfather. After that, his father taught him the feats of dragon dance. With over f fty years of performing experience, Huang is good at forms and movements of the dance, combining with other martial arts. In 2005, he took up the post of becoming the coach of a local drunken dragon dance team. Although Huang is nearly eighty years old, he is very much committed to carrying forward the dance and relevant culture. For years, he has been passing on the skills of drunken dragon dance to later generations.
38.省级传承人：张世钻
项目名称：龙舞（埔寨火龙）
张世钻，男，1938年生。22岁开始学习制作火龙，熟练掌握传统丰顺埔寨火龙的全套制作技艺，特别擅长高难度的“老鼠游梁”等特技性制作，所制的火龙造型气势雄伟，蔚为壮观。曾多次组织和参加重要场合的火龙表演，并积极传承火龙制作技艺。
38. Province-Level Inheritor: Zhang Shizuan
Item: Puzhai Fire Dragon Dance
Zhang Shizuan, male, was born in 1938. Zhang learned the art of making f re dragon when he was 22 years old. Now he has mastered the full techniques and skills for making the traditional f re dragon of Puzhai Town, Fengshun County, especially in making the high challenging with special efforts such as that in “The Mice Crossing the Beam”. The fredragons made by him are grand and magnificent in structure. Zhang once organized and attended f re-dragon dance show in many important events time after time. He is also active in passing this art down to the younger generation.
39.国家级传承人：李荣仔
项目名称：狮舞（广东醒狮）
李荣仔，男，1965年生。龙湾醒狮团团长兼教练、醒狮狮具制作人，具有国家级舞狮教练资格证和国际级舞狮裁判资格证。有近30年的狮具制作经验和10多年的舞狮经验，武术、狮艺功底深厚，所制狮具远销国内外，带领的醒狮团曾获第二届世界华人狮王争霸赛金奖，在马来西亚云顶世界舞狮大赛中也名列前茅。多次应邀到深圳、湖南、广西传授狮艺，在本地也已传授学员500多人，辅导醒狮团几十个，为南派醒狮的传承作出了贡献。
39. State-Level Inheritor: Li Rongzai
Item: Cantonese Waking Lion Dance
Li Rongzai, male, was born in 1965. He is the leader and coach of Longwan Lion Dance Troupe, and the maker of stage props. Li has a national lion dance coaching qualif cation and an international lion dance judging qualif cation. With over ten years of performing experience, he is prof cient in martial arts and lion dance. The stage props made by him are sold well at home and abroad. Moreover, the lion dance troupe led by Li won the Gold Prize at the second Chinese Lion Dance Championship. The troupe also ranked at the top in Genting World Lion Dance Championship. For many times, Li was invited to impart skills of lion dance in City of Shenzhen, Hunan Province and Guangxi Province. He has trained more than 500 dancing learners and instructed dozens of lion dance troupes in the local region. In short, Li has made a great contribution to carrying forward the southern style lion dance.
40.省级传承人：杨敖
项目名称：狮舞（广东醒狮）
杨敖，男，1970年生。文车醒狮团团长兼教练，曾被授予“广东省民间艺术优秀工作者”称号。10岁即随父学习武术和狮艺，有从事舞狮近20年的丰富经验，尤其在表演技巧上编创出高难惊险的套路，甚至能跨越3.8米的高桩，创下了吉尼斯世界最新纪录，为传统狮发展到高桩狮作出了独特贡献，其所率醒狮团先后获中国国际舞狮邀请赛银奖、中国民间艺术大赛山花奖，还应邀参加了2008年北京奥运会开幕式前表演。专门开设了醒狮训练场，近10年来传授学员600多人，辅导醒狮团60多个，还到各地传授狮艺，为南派醒狮的传承作出了重要贡献。
40. Province-Level Inheritor: Yang Ao
Item: Cantonese Waking Lion Dance
Yang Ao, male, was born in 1970. He is the leader and coach of Wenche Village Lion Dance Troupe. Yang won the “Outstanding Folk Artist of Guangdong Province”. At the age of ten, he began to learn martial arts and dancing skills from his father. With nearly twenty years of performing experience, Yang has created many extremely tough movements. When performing the lion dance, he can even jump over the tall poles with a height of 3.8 meters, a new Guinness Record. The lion dance troupe led by Yang won Silver Award at China International Lion Dancing Invitational Tournament and gained Shanhua Prize (Excellent Program Prize) in the China Folk Arts Contest. Besides, Yang was invited to participate in the artistic performance of Beijing 2008 Olympics. Thanks to his efforts, lion dance training rooms were set up. Over the past ten years, Yang has cultivated over 600 dance learners, instructed more than 60 lion dance troupes. Furthermore, he passes on his dancing feats throughout the country. Li has contributed greatly to the impartment of southern style lion dance.
41.省级传承人：关润雄
项目名称：狮舞（广东醒狮）
关润雄，男，1959年生。佛山市南海区武术龙狮体育协会主席，国际龙狮协会技术委员，广东醒狮黄飞鸿派系第六代传人。自幼即受家传七星醒狮传统套路和七星狮鼓、锣、钗击打技艺。后又学习掌握了三星狮舞技能和三星鼓技艺，尤擅长醒狮的高空采青和快速吐球技巧。他创办了全国龙狮训练基地和南海黄飞鸿狮艺武术馆，并在当地推动建立了80多个醒狮馆和1860多个醒狮队，在20多所中小学开展了醒狮培训活动，为广东醒狮的传承发展作出了重要贡献。
41. Province-Level Inheritor: Guan Runxiong
Item: Cantonese Waking Lion Dance
Guan Runxiong, male, was born in 1959. He is the president of Nanhai District Martial Arts ＆ Dragon-lion Dance Association in City of Foshan, and technical committee member of International Dragon and Lion Dance Federation. As a child, Guan learned traditional movements of lion dance and relevant instrument feats. After that, he acquired lion dancing process and skills. Guan set up the National Dragon and Lion Dance Training Base and Nanhai Huang Feihong Lion Dance Center. He plays a significant role in promoting the development of the lion dance, establishing over 80 lion dance clubs and 1860 lion dance teams in his hometown and offering lion dance training courses to local students.
42.省级传承人：周镇隆
项目名称：狮舞（广东醒狮）
周镇隆，男，1944年生。自幼随南海周扳如、周汝仁等老师傅学艺，继承了南海龙狮竞技的传统和南狮洪拳派的特点，在广东醒狮表演技艺上有很高造诣。担任广州市番禺区沙坑村龙狮团团长和总教练，所培养的第一批子弟曾参加法国巴黎国际雄狮争霸赛。他还是中国龙狮运动协会国际级、国家级教练和裁判，广东省龙狮运动协会副会长。
42. Province-Level Inheritor: Zhou Zhenlong
Item: Cantonese Waking Lion Dance
Zhou Zhenlong, male, was born in 1944. At an early age, he began to learn dancing feats from two famous masters, Zhou Banru and Zhou Ruru. He inherited the traditional process and features of the local lion dance, and attained great achievements in performing it. Zhou is the leader and head coach of Shakeng Village Dragon-lion Dance Troupe in Guangzhou. His frst disciples participated in Paris International Lion Dance Championship. In addition, Zhou is a national coach and referee of China Dragon-lion dance Association, and vice president of Guangdong Province Dragon-lion dance Association.
43.省级传承人：王裕坤
项目名称：狮舞（东莞醒狮）
王裕坤，男，1944年生。有40多年从事狮舞的经验，擅长东莞狮舞的传统狮鼓表演，凡擂鼓、高狮鼓、低狮鼓、三抛鼓、七星鼓等均十分熟练，练就了一手高超的击鼓技艺，尤其讲究击鼓的技法、姿态，以及手势的花样。10余年前已开始培养新鼓手，现还致力于在学校开展传承东莞狮舞活动。
43. Province-Level Inheritor: Wang Yukun
Item: Cantonese Waking Lion Dance
Wang Yukun, male, was born in 1944. With more than forty years of dancing experience, he did very well in traditional lion dance and beating various related dancing drums. Wang especially paid attention to techniques, stances and gestures of beating drums. Over ten years ago, he started to train young drummers. Now, Wang is dedicated to passing on the lion dance in local schools.

While showing the traditional lion dance skills, he also displays many new changes. Shi was invited to perform lion dance and other Buddhist dances in American universities.

His skillful show won high praise from people in City of Meizhou.

Deng Jinping, male, was born in 1945. He is the coach of Tangwei Village Lion Dance Team in Fuyong Town. He is good at showing local features of lion dance. Deng focuses on intensifying the diffculty of dancing movements, and has made creative breakthroughs in the performing skills. The lion dance team instructed by him won the third place at International Lion Dance Championship in Malaysia, eight gold medals in the first Guangdong Province Popular Games, and ranked the third place ih the first Guangdong Province Sports Contest. Over the years, Deng has been collecting and reorganizing information about traditional lion dance, so as to promote the development of local lion dance.

Item: Dongguan Kylin Dance
Cai Yucai, male, was born in 1962. He was born into a Kylin Dance family. At the age of 8, he began to learn the dance. Not only does he perform the Kylin Dance vividly, but he has also grasped cudgel techniques and various forms of the dance. Besides, he is familiar with related instruments and routines of the Kylin Dance. In the eyes of the local people, Cai is the “Master of Kylin Dance”. His team won Gold Prize in the 1st Guangdong Province Kylin Dance Contest. The dancing progGoats directed by him obtained two gold medals in the 1st China Kylin Dance Contest. Furthermore, Cai led his team to participate in the variety performance of Beijing Olympics. Over the past decade, he has recruited disciples, teaching them his dancing feats. Thanks to Cai’s great efforts, the Dongguan Kylin Dance can be passed on.

Since 1968, Liu has been teaching local learners about the feats of the Kylin Dance.

Tan Jintang, male, was born in 1942. At the age of 16, he began to learn basic skills of the Kylin Dance from the master in Huangpu. In 1950s, Tan took part in the local Kylin dance team to perform on tour. With nearly 50 years of performing experience, he is familiar with various dancing forms and feats. At present, he is captain of the local Kylin dance team. Since 2002, Tan began to investigate and collecte relevant information about Huangpu Kylin dance. Thanks to his efforts, the Kylin Dancing Association was founded. Besides, Tan is enthusiastic about recruiting disciples and teaching them dancing skills, which sustains the growth of Huangpu Kylin Dance.

He has a comprehensive grasp of performing forms and basic movements of ritual dance, and knows the making methods and usage of dancing masks, costumes and stage props. Peng takes part in local ritual dances every year. Besides, he leads the team to participate in arts festival and folk culture festival performances every year. With over fifty years of experience in dancing, Peng is familiar with not only the basic movements and requirements of ritual dance, but also the making methods and usages of dancing masks, costumes and stage props. During the “Culture Revolution”, Yao took risks to preserve the manuscripts of the exorcising dance, which played a key role in protecting and developing the dance. Thanks to his great efforts, this endangered ancient ritual dance can be passed on.

Besides, he cooperated with others to write articles about the introduction of ritual dance for the book Chinese National Folk Dances · Guangdong. Although Zhang is 70 years old, he actively imparts Huazhou Exorcizing Dance in local schools.

He led the local crane dance team to participate in large-scale folk art activities across the country many times. The team won “the Best Folk Feature Award” at the second Guangdong Province Folk Art Championship. Over the years, Chen has been enthusiastic about imparting the Crane Dance. He launched a training course to teach local teenagers dancing skills and related songs, actively promoting the development of the Sanzao Crane Dance.

Shi Ce, male, was born in 1937. He is an associate researcher specializing in dance. Fifty years ago, he was taught by the local sole inheritor of Chaozhou carp dance. Shi had a comprehensive grasp of performing feats of the dance. Then, he collected and reorganized various detailed information on the carp dance. Besides, Shi asked someone else to record musical scores and draw dancing pictures. Subsequently, he wrote carp dance performing scripts including the dancing origin, history, development, movement, illustration, form, costume and stage prop making. Also, Shi wrote articles about the carp dance for the book Chinese National Folk Dances · Guangdong. Thanks to his great efforts, the carp dance has been carried forward widely in China.

Also, Tang can improvise humor with witty remarks to entertain the audience. He led the dance team to barnstorm and gathered numerous fans across the country. He ardently trained successors of Spring Buffalo Dance, which promoted the development of Spring Buffalo Dance in the City of Shaoguan.

Li wrote articles to introduce Raoping Cloth Horse Dance at large for the book Chinese National Folk dances · Guangdong. Liang Baochen, male, born in 1942, learned the forms, movements and techniques of performing Eagle and Bear Dance at the age of 18. Liang put the performing tactics of picking the green into books. Moreover, he integrated the Hong Quan forms of two-people weapon combat into the dance, which promoted the development of Eagle and Bear Dance. In 2004, Liang was awarded the title as “Outstanding Folk Artist in Guangdong Province”by the Provincial Cultural Department. Besides, he has been the coach of local Eagle and Bear Dance group, passing on performing technical skills to the later generations.

Tangqiao Xin’er, male, was born in 1941. At the age of twelve, he learned the longdrum dance from his father and other senior dancers. With over f fty years of performing experience, Tangqiao has become an essential leading dancer who can direct the whole team in the show. He is one of the most representative long-drum dancers, with the reputation of“King of Drum” in Liannan City. In the 1960s and 1980s, Tang participated in the National Ethnic Arts performing long-drum dance, and later was invited to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and other places to give performances or take part in competitions. Over the past 10 years, Tang has offered long-term dance courses to about one hundred people, as well as to primary schools.

He took part in the second National Folk Music ＆ Dance Performance. Besides, Huang was invited to perform in Guangzhou and other cities. Fu Zhikun, male, was born in 1947. He is enthusiastic about creating, writing, directing, exploring and reorganizing of folk arts. Since the Helou Dance was suspended for some time, Fu spent two years bringing back this ancient dance. During this process, Fu visited and interviewed senior dancers in rural areas. After that, he spared no effort to reorganize and integrate those dance fragments of memory and oral dancing movements. Thanks to his great efforts, the Helou Dance was successfully restored. Fu has played a crucial role in passing on the Helou Dance.

Item: Five-Horse-Touring-the-City Dance
Chen Libang, male, was born in 1936. Fifty years ago, he was the pillar of local horse dance troupe. Due to historical reasons, the dance was broken up for a long time. Since 1987, Chen devoted himself to training young inheritors to save and carry forward the local horse dance. In addition, he mobilized the masses to make the stage props and costume, making a valuable contribution to the revival of the horse dance. Chen’s hometown, Dazhou Town, was named the “Home of Folk Arts in China” by the Ministry of Culture. The dance won the “Outstanding Performance Award” in the Lingnan Folk Artistic Show.

He is especially good at absorbing elements from other folk operas such as Peking Opera, Kunqu Opera and Shaoxing Opera. Integrating modern music into Cantonese Opera, he has digested various arias and created his unique, resounding and affectionate aria. Fang Zhanrong, male, was born in 1948. He is a national f rst-grade actor. He debuted as Chou (clown) at the age of 10, and has successfully performed a series of Clowns on the stage for about 50 years. As an excellent successor of the ladder-sliding skill in particular, Mr. Fang has won fame in the theatrical community. He has published the monograph Chao Chou Yi Tan, or the Art of Chou in Chaozhou Opera, in which he has enriched the performing theory for Chou characters. He has trained many apprentices to become actors of Chou character. Mr. Fang has won many awards, such as the Peony Award of National Opera and the Best Opera Actor in the Seventh Shanghai Magnolia Award.

Mr. Zhang has gained extensive performing experience in 60-yearodd stage career and has successfully shaped a series of Laosheng characters, becoming an important representative of Laosheng actors in Chaozhou Opera. For many years he has cultivated lots of apprentices to become excellent actors of Laosheng, and made an important contribution to the succession of Chaozhou Opera.

During 40-year-odd stage career as actor, director composer and drummer, Mr. Chen has gained a comprehensive grasp of the Chaozhou Opera. He has attained remarkable experience and accomplishments, for example, in names of tunes, Suona, string, drum, composing techniques and singing skills. He has created arias and musical accompaniment for over 100 dramas and published Chen Peng’s Arias and Compositions Repertoire of Chaozhou Opera by the Chinese Drama Publishing House. For years, he has cultivated many students who has turned out to be major composers in troupes. In recent years, he established Chaozhou Art Center for Passing down Chaozhou Opera. She won golden medal in the second Guangdong Province Drama and Performing Arts Competition, and frst prize in the tenth Guangdong Province Art festival. China Central Television has flmed a feature “Zheng Shun-Ying – A Famous Dang Actor of Chaozhou Opera” to present her artistic achievements. She has won the Outstanding Performance Award in Chinese Drama Festival, frst prize for actors in the Guangdong Province Art Festival, and was twice given Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award, known as the best Dan actor of Guangdong Province with comprehensive skills. She has comprehensive skills in singing, acting, dialogue and fghting, with her aria tone 15 degree. Lü Weiping, male, was born in 1966. He started his stage career at the age of 20 and learned Xiqin Opera from the famous performer Luo Zhenbiao. He is specialized in playing Laosheng (old male role) with his unique style. He has also inherited the traditional performing stunt of “playing jiaohua chair”, and is known as the “best Laosheng performer in contemporary Xiqin Opera”. In recent years, he has successfully directed and starred a number of traditional operas and integrated repertoire. He won many awards at the Ninth and Tenth Guangdong Province Provincial Festivals. He Wenfu, male, was born in 1944. He has been engaged in puppet show for 45 years in both directing and performing. Mr. He is not only specialized in “left hand school”operation skills, but also good at drawing on expertise from others to manipulate the puppet show vividly. He once directed “The Moon Lady” and many other operas, played Lin Chong, the Monkey King, Lotus Fairy and other different roles. In particular, he can vividly interprete happiness, anger, sadness and joy of Dan roles. In the 1992 National Puppet Show, he won Outstanding Director Award and Outstanding Performance Award for directing the show “Liu Yi Chuan Shu” and playing the role of the Dragon Lady by the Ministry of Culture. Though he is over 60 years old, he is still teaching puppet show skills to young people in the theater.

Chen Peisen, male, was born in 1968. At the age of 16, he began to engage in production and operation of iron rod puppet shows. Li Xinxian, male, was born in 1964 and has been engaged in puppetry arts for more than 30 years. He has comprehensive techniques and profound skills in directing, raising lines, singing, accompaniment and crafts. Mr. Li’s innovative puppet calligraphy is a skill unique to Meizhou. He won Outstanding Performance Award of Young Artists Contest in the National Puppet Show. Mr. Cai’s performance is effortless, extremely rich, lifelike, and elegant. He is active in the rescue and protection of Lufeng Shadow Play, compiling dozens of traditional shadow plays and saving a number of cultural relics like props and musical instruments. 彭忠，男，1931年生。出身当地皮革世家，20出头即学会了皮影皮的传统制作，后成为皮影剧团的专业制作技术员，有50多年制作皮影皮的丰富经验，技艺精湛，尤其在改革制作工艺，制造出透明皮影皮以取代黑色不透明的传统皮影皮方面作出了重大贡献。所制影皮不仅能防潮防蚀，经久耐用，且不弯曲不变形，易于雕刻、操作，做成的影身能充分透光，加以新绘后即能在幕布上显出光鲜的形象，大大丰富了陆丰皮影戏的艺术表现力。现已把透明皮影皮制作技艺传授给下一代。

Peng Zhong, male, was born in the local leather-making family in 1931. At about 20, he learned the traditional leather production of shadow puppet and then became a professional technician of a shadow play troupe. In his 50-year-odd career of producing leather shadow puppets, he has exquisite technique, particularly in renovation of manufacturing techniques. He has made great contributions in using transparent shadow puppet leather to replace the traditional black opaque leather. The new material is durable, moisture-proof and erosionproof. It does not bend or deform and is easy to carve and operate. The translucent shadow puppets can have a bright image on the backdrop, greatly enriching the artistic expression of the Lufeng Shadow Play. Mr. Peng has been imparting skills of making transparent puppets to the next generation.

Chen Jiayue, male, was born in 1965. He learned Girls’ Songs from the well-known singer Zhou Dingzhuang and now has over 30-year performing experience. He won first prize in Girls’ Songs Contest organized by East Sea Development Zone and City of Leizhou several times. In 2006 he participated in Girls’ Songs Contest of Leizhou and won the title“King of Girls’ Songs”.

符海燕，女，1973年生。湛江市兼雷州市雷州歌研究会副会长，中国民间文艺家协会会员，曾被授予“湛江市优秀民间文艺家”称号。13岁即随当地著名老艺人谢莲兴学唱姑娘歌，两年后已能即兴而唱，如今更是吐字清晰，音质甜美，唱词上妙语连珠，雅趣横生。曾获广东省首届民间歌会决赛铜奖和特色奖、湛江市首届民间歌会和红土文化艺术节银奖和金奖，连续4年均夺得雷州半岛姑娘歌赛的得胜擂台主奖和“歌后”奖。

Fu Haiyan, female, was born in 1973. She is vice president of Leizhou Songs Research Academy and member of Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association. Ms. Fu was awarded the title of “Outstanding Folk Artist in City of Zhanjiang”. She learned this art at the age of 13 from the well-known local artist Xie Lian-xing. After two years, she could sing impromptu and her songs are articulate, sweet and witty. She won Bronze Award and Special Award in the frst Guangdong Province Provincial Folk Song Contest, Silver and Gold Award in the f rst Zhanjiang Municipal Folk Song Contest and Red Clay Culture and Art Festival respectively. She won the title of “Queen of Girls’ Songs” for four consecutive years in Girls’ Songs Contest of Leizhou Peninsula.
