I.Regulatory Authority

Under Chinese law, the competent publication department of the State Council (i.e.the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China) shall be responsible for the supervision and administration of the publication, reproduction, distribution of audio and video products across the country; and other administrative publication departments of the State Council (i.e.the administrative department of Press and Publication) shall be responsible for the supervision and administration of the publication, reproduction, and distribution of audio and video products within their respective administrative regions.The State Council and other relevant departments of local people’s governments at or above the county level are responsible for the supervision and administration of the related audio and video product operations within their respective responsibilities.(https://www.daowen.com)
