VI.Compliance Points of Advertisement Publisher
According to Article 2.4 of the Advertising Law, advertisement publisher means a natural person, a legal person, or any other organization that publishes advertisements for an advertiser or an advertising agent authorized by the advertiser.The law has compliance requirements at multiple levels, such as subject qualification, business management, and publishing content review systems, as well as prohibitive regulations.For example, radio stations, television stations, publishers of newspapers,journals, and audio-visual recordings, and Internet service providers shall not publish advertisements on medical services, drugs, medical instruments, or functional food in a disguised form such as introducing health or health care knowledge; shall not publish advertisements in the form of news reports and collect fees; shall provide true information such as the coverage rate, audience rating, click rate, circulation to advertisers and advertising agents, etc.(https://www.daowen.com)
According to Article 8 of the Interim Measures for the Administration of Internet Advertising, Internet advertisement publishers shall pay attention to the following points when sending advertisements: (1) they shall not affect the normal use of the Internet by any user; (2) in an advertisement published on the Internet in the pop-up and other forms, a close sign shall be conspicuously indicated, and closing the advertisement by only one click shall be ensured; (3) no deceptive means shall be used to tempt any user to click an advertisement; (4) no advertisement or advertisement link shall, without authorization, be attached to an e-mail sent by a user.
