泰晤士小镇
Thames Town
泰晤士小镇建成于2005年，由英国阿特金斯公司规划设计，从整体布局、建筑风貌到建筑小品都原汁原味地参考了英国风貌，总占地面积约1平方公里，总建筑面积50万平方米。
泰晤士小镇是一个集居住、旅游、休闲等多项功能的特色城市社区，镇内分布独栋、联排别墅和多层公寓居住区，汇聚有“市政厅”、规划展示馆、美术馆、教堂、宾馆、学校等公共服务设施配套。街景、街头绿地与雕塑构成小镇内丰富的城市景观，成为松江城现代建筑风貌的典型代表。
小镇有三个出入口，分别位于新松江路、三新北路和文诚路。文诚路出入口有一排高大的银杏树，秋天金黄的银杏叶是小镇的一道美丽风景线。小镇东部有美丽的景观湖——华亭湖，湖边有游船码头与别致的建筑单体，每年端午在湖上举办的龙舟赛更是热闹非凡。泰晤士小镇还聚集了艺术展览与创意产业，不时举办雕塑展、摄影展、书法作品展等。时尚嘉年华、休闲音乐派对、婚恋博览会、天主堂主日弥撒等活动也吸引市民前来休闲、娱乐、参观、游览。
泰晤士教堂 是小镇的制高点，位于西部的核心区域，是小镇的地标性建筑之一。教堂的外形是典型的哥特式风格——尖顶、花窗和十字架造型，吸引身着婚纱礼服的新人们前来取景摄影。
松江城市规划展览馆 位于中心广场东北侧，内部分为上下两层，对松江城市发展历程、文物古迹分布、城市功能布局结构等方面有详尽的介绍，是了解松江城市起源、演变与发展的理想去处。
钟书阁泰晤士店 于2013年3月开业，店内的“九宫格书”“书阶梯”等特色风格营造出了“书天地”的氛围，吸引众多读者与游人。
Thames Town was designed by Atkins and built in 2005. The overall layout, architectural style, and architectural sketches are all based on a British style. The site covers about 1 square kilometer, with 500,000 square meters used as the construction area.
Thames Town is a special urban community that functionally integrates residences, tourism attractions, and entertainment. The town contains detached villas, townhouses and multi-story apartments, a “Town Hall”, Planning Exhibition Hall, art galleries, church, hotels, schools, and many other public service facilities. Streetscapes, green spaces and sculptures enrich the landscape of the town revealing Songjiang as a destination of representative modern architecture.
The town has three passages, located at New Songjiang Road, North Sanxin Road, and Wencheng Road. Near the passage of Wencheng Road, a row of ginkgo trees with golden leaves contributes to the beautiful scenery in autumn. In the east, a beautiful landscaped body of water called Huating Lake makes it possible to hold a lively dragon boat race every year during the summer festival. By the lake, cruise ships dock amid unconventional buildings. Thames Town also contains a variety of creative industries gathered to exhibit art, sculptures, photography, and calligraphy. Fashion carnivals, music parties, wedding expositions, and Sunday masses also attract numerous visitors and citizens.
The Thames Church has thickly become a local landmark. Located in the core area of the west, it rests at the top of the town. With its typical Gothic style, the spires, lattice windows and crosses attract new couples to take wedding pictures here.
The Songjiang Urban Planning Exhibition Hall is located on the northeast side of the central square. This two-story building is an ideal place to learn about Songjiang's ongoing development and to appreciate its overall design as well as the distribution of cultural relics and historical sites.
Zhongshuge Bookstore opened in March 2013. The store's special features such as “Book Magic Square” and “Book Stairs” create a world of books that attract many readers and visitors.
