Ticket Purchase
You could find out the ticket office under the guidance of the guide signs in the station.
（1）The type of tickets and rules for using them in metro stations：
—Single Ticket：When you enter the station，place the ticket above the circular“card reader”on the surface of the ticket gate.When you leave the station，insert the ticket into the slot on the ticket machine.The ticket will be taken back by the metro station.
The ticket is valid on the date of purchase.You can return it to us on the date of purchase without reason as long as you have not used it.
You need to purchase a new ticket if you want to transfer to other metro lines after leaving the station.
—Public Transportation Card：When you enter or leave the station，place the card above the circular“card reader”on the surface of the ticket gate.You should keep your card after leaving the station.
Deposit：20 yuan for each card
When you want to top up the card，you should pay at least 10 yuan each time.
You can transfer to other metro lines after leaving the station.The ticket price will be calculated in succession
—Souvenir Ticket：When you enter or leave the station，place the ticket above the circular“card reader”on the surface of the ticket gate.You can keep the ticket after leaving the station.
You will be regarded as“taking the metro without ticket”or“with invalid ticket”if you lost the souvenir ticket or you damage it.
You can purchase this ticket in the souvenir shop in the People's Square Station.
—Public Transportation Card for the Elderly：When you enter or leave the station，place the card above the circular“card reader”on the surface of the ticket gate.You should keep your card after leaving the station.
The elderly people aged above 70 could take the metro at non-peak hours on working days（7∶00—9∶00 a.m.and 5∶00—7∶00 p.m.are peak hours）.They could take the metro with this card at anytime on holidays.
Passengers with this card should enter and leave the station via a special ticket gate.They can take the metro free of charge with this card.
—One Day Pass：When you enter or leave the station，place the ticket above the circular“card reader”on the surface of the ticket gate.You should keep the ticket after leaving the station.
Price：18 yuan
After you enter the station by swiping the ticket on the card reader on the ticket gate，you could take the metro（excluding the maglev train）for several times within 24 hours.
Three Day Ticket：When you enter or leave the station，place the ticket above the circular“card reader”on the surface of the ticket gate.You can keep the ticket after leaving the station.
Price：45 yuan
After you enter the station by swiping the ticket on the“card reader”on the ticket gate，you could take the metro（excluding the maglev train）for several times within 72 hours.
—Coupon ticket for the maglev train and metro：When you enter or leave the station，place the ticket above the circular“card reader”on the surface of the ticket gate.You should keep the ticket after leaving the station.
Price：55 yuan for a single-journey maglev ticket；85 yuan for a round-trip ticket
Passengers with a valid ticket could take the maglev train once（or twice）on ordinary seat.After entering the station by swiping this coupon ticket on the“card reader”，passengers could take any metro train on any metro line under operation within 24 hours.
（2）How to purchase the tickets.
Ticket price calculation：The ticket price will be calculated based on a segmentation system focusing on mileage：3 yuan for 0—6 kilometers（including 6 kilometers）；4 yuan for 6—16 kilometers（including 6 kilometers）；for passengers traveling above 16 kilometers，they will pay 1 yuan for traveling every 10 kilometers.
—Artificial ticket-selling service：The ticket prices for all stations will be printed on the ticket price table.Before buying tickets，you could look for the price on this table or inquiry about the ticket price from our staffs.
—How to use the automatic ticket machine：
①Click the name of the metro line that you need and choose your destination station on the metro line；
②Click the number of tickets that you want to purchase（each person could purchase 9 tickets only each time）；
③Insert bank notes or coins into the machine（one-yuan bank note will not be accepted）；④Take the changes and tickets.
（3）Concession policy.
—Concession policy for interchange between Shanghai Metro and bus routes：
Passengers with a Shanghai Public Transportation Card could have a concession price of 1 yuan if they transfer to other bus routes within 120 minutes after leaving the metro station；
—Concession policy for passengers who have spent 70 yuan in Shanghai Metro in one calendar month：
Passengers with a Shanghai Public Transportation Card could have a ten percent off of their ticket prices if they have spent 70 yuan in Shanghai Metro in one calendar month.The total amount of ticket price being spent will be recalculated in the next calendar month.
（4）Interchange outside the station.
—Passengers with a Shanghai Public Transportation Card could transfer to other metro lines within 30 minutes after leaving the station.The ticket price will be calculated in succession；
—Passengers with a single ticket should buy a new ticket to enter a new station after going out of the station.They can not get a concession price for interchange outside the station.
Tips：
1）Each passenger could bring a child with the height of（including）1.3 meters with him on the metro.No need to buy a ticket for this child.However，if a passenger brings more than one child with him，he should pay the ticket price according to the number of children.Preschool children are not allowed to take the metro unless they are accompanied by adults.
2）Other auxiliary equipment：Inquiry machine for Shanghai Public Transportation Card，self-service bank，bulletin board，etc.

购 票
乘客只要根据站内导向标志指示即可找到售票处。
（1）地铁站内票卡种类介绍及使用规定。
单程票：照进插出，出站回收。
车票当天有效，当天未使用的车票可以无理由退票。
在出站后想要换乘到其他线路上需要重新购票进站。
公共交通卡：照进照出，出站不回收。
押金：20元/张

纪念票：照进照出，出站不回收。
本卡遗失或人为损坏即视为无票或持无效票乘车。

本市70岁以上老人持本卡可在工作日非高峰时段（工作日高峰时段为7：00—9：00，17：00—19：00）、节假日全天使用。
持该卡的乘客在敬老卡专用闸机进出，免费乘车。
一日票：照进照出，出站不回收。
票价：18元。
车票以首次在进站检票闸机上使用开始计时，之后24小时内可反复多次乘坐轨道交通（磁浮地铁除外）。
三日票：照进照出，出站不回收。
票价：45元。
车票以首次在进站检票闸机上使用开始计时，之后72小时内可反复多次乘坐轨道交通（磁浮地铁除外）。
磁浮地铁一票通：照进照出，出站不回收。
票价：单程55元、双程85元
乘客在有效期内分别可乘坐一次（或两次）上海磁浮列车单程普通席，并可在首次刷卡进站后24小时的运营时段内无限乘坐轨道交通的所有线路。
（2）如何购票。
票价计算：轨道交通实行按乘坐里程计费的分段票价制，即：0—6千米（含6千米）3元，6—16千米（含16千米）4元，16千米以外，每10千米增加1元。
·人工售票：所有车站的票价都将被打印在票价表上。购票前，您可在票价表上找出目的地车站相对应的票价或向售票员询问后购票。
·自动售票机使用方法：
①在运营线路上点击所需乘坐的线路，然后选择所要到达的目的地车站。
②点所购买的张数（目前每人限购9张/次）
③（据所需金额）投入纸币或硬币（不接受1元纸币）
④取出找零及所购车票
（3）票卡优惠措施。
·公交轨道联乘优惠：持公共交通卡乘客，在120分钟内，地铁与公交之间换乘可享受1元的优惠。
·公共交通卡地铁乘坐满70元累积优惠：当月公共交通卡在地铁乘坐满70元后可享受9折优惠，次月重新计算当月累积额度。
（4）出站换乘。
·持公共交通卡乘客可在出站后30分钟内进行一票换乘，享受连续计费；
·持单程票的乘客出站后需重新购票进站，不享受出站换乘。
温馨提示：
1）每位乘客可以免费带领一名身高1.3米（含1.3米）以下的儿童乘车，超过一名的按超过人数购票。无成年人带领的学龄前儿童不得单独乘车。
2）其他辅助设备：一卡通查询机、自助银行、公告栏等。
