ATP
In the system of urban rail transit，the speed of trains is not fast，the distance of two stops is not far，and the interval of two trains is short.Under such conditions to ensure the safety，efficiency and accurate of train operation，a high standard is needed to meet on both hardware and software.That is why ATP is adapted on urban rail transit in China.
ATP system contains two parts，On-board ATP and Ground ATP.On-board ATP includes ATP module，ATP antenna and train speed sensor（OPG）.OPG can read train's speed and feed readings to ATP.Meanwhile，ATP monitors train's location and parts'status.If any data does not match with ATP program，a troubled train or a series of trains will be stopped.ATP antenna will send the message to Ground ATP.So the dispatchers will be alerted.
The functions of ATP are listed as following：stop protection，train location detection，speed protection，speed and distance detection，train interval control，temporary speed restriction，door control and train operation record.

ATP
在城市轨道交通系统中，列车的速度不是很快，两站之间的距离不远，两列车辆之间间隔的时间很短。在这种情况下要确保列车运行的安全、效率、准时，系统的硬件和软件需要达到高标准。这就是中国的城市轨道交通采用ATP系统的原因。
ATP系统包含两个部分：车载ATP和地面ATP。车载ATP包括ATP模块、ATP天线和列车速度传感器（OPG）。OPG可以读取列车的速度并将数据传递给ATP。同时，ATP监控列车的位置和部件的状态。如果任何数据与ATP程序数据不匹配，出现问题的列车或一系列的列车将停止运行。ATP天线将消息发送到地面ATP。因此，调度人员会得到提醒。
ATP的功能有停车保护、列车位置监测、速度保护、速度和距离监测、列车间隔控制、速度临时限制、车门控制和列车运行记录。
