Metro Broadcasting
Metro Broadcasting System is an important facility of metro operation，which can not only provide accurate and timely traveling information，but also be an important instrument for train operation control and disaster prevention and alarm.
The broadcasting system can be sorted as car radio，station radio and platform radio.Car radio is normally used to announce stops，route and destination，and to remind passengers for their safety concern，such as“Please stand clear for the doors.”The function of platform radio is normally to remind all passengers that a train is approaching and they should stand behind the yellow line if there is no screen doors.The station radio is in use under circumstance like an emergency takes place or some facilities break down.For instance，“Exit D is under construction.Please take other exits for leaving.Sorry for your inconvenience.”etc.
There is always a metro broadcasting system in each station in different cities and countries.When a station is making an announcement，local language is always the first one to be chosen，then English would be the second.There might be the third and fourth.It depends on the number of foreigners traveling in the city or other reasons.For example in Guangzhou，Mandarin is the language used for the first broadcasting，then is Cantonese，English is the last，because more people speak Cantonese than English!
