Dialogue 1

A:Excuse me,sir.The air-conditioner in this carriage won't work.Can you tell me why.

B:That's right.I'm awfully sorry for the inconvenience it might cause.I'm afraid the thunderstorm has affected the circuit of the air-conditioner.

A:I see.But when will the air-conditioner go back to normal?

B:I can't say for sure when it will be back in operation.But take it easy.Things will turn out all right.The train is approaching a big station.The air-conditioner will be repaired while the train stops at the station.

A:I hope so.

B:Thanks for your understanding.

A:I missed my station just now.On a crowded train,I think,passengers can't hear the public-address announcements clearly at all.

B:I see.I'm sorry for the inconvenience.I'll report to the manager about this question.

A:Thank you for listening.

B:Thank you for your feedback.Have a pleasant trip.
