Under the Chinese scholarship,subjects of private international law refer to the actors entitled to rights and obligations in international civil and commercial relations which include natural persons,legal persons,states and international organizations.1 Among those actors,natural persons and legal persons belong to the category of “regular subjects,” while states and international organizations of “exceptional subjects” which,as its name suggests,act as the subjects of private international law but in exceptional cases.This part will examine those subjects,which consists of three chapters.
