A,who was originally a Russian,at the age of twenty traveled to the United States with the intention of making her permanent home there and acquiring an American nationality.After her marriage with an American,she obtains American citizenship and an American domicile by American law,but Russia recognizes dual citizenship,therefore,she is of both American and Russian nationalities.In May 2011,she traveled to China for business where she got involved in a civil dispute with a Chinese national.A question before the Chinese court,therefore,was to determine which nationality that she possesses.Resorting to Article 19 of the Conflicts Act of 2010,the Chinese court deemed her as an American citizen,insofar as she has domicile (and certainly habitual residence) in the United States.(https://www.daowen.com)
