Driving 30，000 Kilometers to School

It's not unusual for parents of college freshmen（大一新生）to drive their children to their new schools.For some parents，it is sad to d__1__off their children at a new place.But a Chinese father，Huang Haitao，decided to make it i__2__by driving his daughter from China to her college in America.

Mr.Huang started making plans for the long journey the m__3__his daughter received her admission letter（录取通知书）from Seattle University（西雅图大学）.He spent the next few months p__4__for the international road journey.

Mr.Huang and his daughter started from Nanjing on June 1.They spent 108 days driving 30,000 kilometers and t__5__through 26 countries.When they finally arrived in Seattle on September 11,their story had a__6__become a hot topic in China.

Mr.Huang said that the 108 days had taught his daughter a lesson she would never f__7__.He added,“Young people have to see the world with their own eyes,or else they won't know what it really looks like.”
