Play Mahjong in the Park！

China is the birthplace of mahjong.But now this game has become a popular pastime in the U.S.since it was i__1__to the country in the early 1920s.

Bryant Park（布莱恩公园）is one of the most f__2__public places in downtown New York City.Every Monday and Thursday afternoon，many mahjong lovers g__3__around the tables in the park to play the game.

This year is the fifth year of the mahjong area in Bryant Park.The mahjong area now runs t__4__a week.On holidays there are even marathons with all k__5__of mahjong and anyone can come to play and learn.

There is even a National Mahjong League（国家麻将联盟）in the country to help standardize the game.When it was started in 1937，there were only 32 members.But now it has a__6__500，000 members，so this game is very，very p__7__in the U.S.，according to Linda Fisher，the organizer of Bryant Park's Mahjong area.
