The Sword of King Arthur

Have you picked up anything interesting near a river or a lake？Recently a seven-year-old British girl found a sword in Lake Dozmary，where the legendary King Arthur d__1__his sacred sword—Excalibur（王者之剑）.

Although it was proven that the sword was cast no more t__2__30 years ago,people still thought it might be the call of destiny.

In Britain，King Arthur is called“the once and future king”，and there are many legends about this great king.Arthur was the o__3__son of King Uther（尤瑟王），but he was raised by a wizard named Merlin（梅林）w__4__knowing his ancestry（血统）.

When King Uther died，Merlin said that w__5__could pull out the Sword in the Stone（石中剑）shall be King.Arthur，as the blood of Uther，s__6__pulled out the sword and became King.

But later the sword was broken，so Merlin led Arthur to the Lady of the Lake（湖上夫人），and Arthur was given Excalibur.Merlin warned Arthur that，though the sword was powerful，its scabbard（剑鞘）was also important because it could p__7__its owner from bleeding.However，Arthur lost the scabbard，which cost his life in the end.Arthur dropped the sword into the lake before he died，and swore to protect the kingdom forever.
