Playing American Football

American football is one of the most p__1__sports in almost every big university in the U.S.

Players can kick，handle and throw the ball and run with it.They try to take it to the o__2__end of the field；they have four chances to move the ball ten yards（码）.If they move it to the end of the field，they will get six p__3__.This is called a touch-down（持球触地）.

It's d__4__to move the ball.Eleven players of the other team will try to stop the man who has the ball.If the player cannot move the ball ten yards,his team will have to kick it to the other team.

Thousands of people come to stadiums to w__5__American football games.They all yell for their favorite team.They also dance and jump while they yell.Each team plays ten or eleven games in a season.The season begins in September and ends in November.If a team plays well in the s__6__,it may play other games after the season ends.A match between the two best American football teams will be h__7__on January 1.Many people will go to the stadium to watch the game and others will watch it on TV.
