Susannah Four Eyes and Laser Light Suzy

Susannah was a shy but clever girl.She couldn't see too well,and had worn glasses for as long as she could remember.And again,for as long as she could remember,some of her classmates always picked on her and made f__1__of her big glasses.

The worst thing was that Lewis had started calling her“Four Eyes”.She acted like she didn't mind,but in fact,Susannah couldn't s__2__it.

One day,the class went to visit some caves.The children were w__3__towards the caves,when Lewis put his foot in a hole and slipped.While falling,he grabbed onto Susannah and both fell down into the hole.

It was very dark.All that could be s__4__was a single ray of light coming from the cave roof.Susannah and Lewis shouted for help,but no one came.In the cold cave,they endured a long dark night.

The next morning，they still hadn't been found.Suddenly，Susannah had an idea.She took a piece of wood.Then she used her glasses as a magnifying glass（放大镜）and f__5__the ray of light onto the wood until a little flame sprang up（突然出现）.Now they had a torch.Lewis watched all this with s__6__and excitement.They used the torch to explore the cave.Finally they found a way out.

After getting out of the cave,Lewis gave Susannah his thanks.He felt sorry for having called her“Four Eyes”.Later,Lewis told everyone what had h__7__and called Susannah“Laser Light Suzy”.Guess what?Susannah loved that name！
