Love and Responsibility

Nowadays,more and more parents encourage their children to take part in volunteer programs.They want their kids to be more loving,caring and responsible；and they want them to learn things b__1__their textbooks.

Last summer holiday，I went hiking with my parents in a country park，where we came a__2__a group of volunteers.They were helping stray animals（流浪动物）in the park as well as protecting the environment.We decided to join them.

Our task was to tell people with e__3__plastic water bottles to drop their bottles in a large green box.People who did so would be given a small pack of seeds to feed the stray animals in the park.My parents collected bottles and gave out the seeds,while I walked around the park to e__4__our work to the people we saw with empty bottles.

The activity was interesting but tough as well.With a hot sun above in the sky，I started to sweat and felt r__5__tired as the time ticked away.I didn't stop，however，for I knew I was helping the animals as well as the environment.And through this experience，I've learned a lot about love and responsibility（责任）.

It's a pity that our modern life，with all its convenience（便利），d__6__the environment so much and leaves lots of animals homeless.I s__7__believe that，with everyone working together，we can make our world a better place to live in.
