A Visit to the British Museum

The British Museum is one of the largest museums in the world.It has some eight million w__1__on human history，art and culture.Its collections are from all continents（洲）and tell the story of human culture from its beginning to the p__2__.

There are free eye-opener tours（大开眼界之旅）in different halls of the museum every day.The tours last 30 to 40 minutes and you can choose some of them to attend according to your i__4__.There are m__5__free lunchtime talks in the museum as well.The talks last 45 minutes，and are held at 1∶15 p.m.on Tuesdays to Fridays.

In the“Hands on Desks”program,you will have a chance to t__6__the objects from the museum's collections.V__7__will help you and answer your questions.The program is held every day from 11∶00 a.m.to 4∶00 p.m.
