Run for Better Me

This June，I took part in the CIIC Charity Run（中智慈善跑）with my mom.Although the weather was terrible，n__1__was going to stop us showing our love for people in need.

After running for 3 kilometers，we were all wet and out of breath.But as soon as I got my prize—RMB 20 worth of“Love Coins”，I felt so happy and very proud；those coins would be u__2__to help the needy.In the end，I'd d__3__to donate them to an NGO（非政府组织）that focuses on children with special educational needs.

This was my first time to get involved in such a meaningful a__4__and I felt very moved.I learned that there were still many children who live in poverty around the world and can't a__5__education.I decided to save my pocket money from then on to help sponsor（赞助）those kids'education.

I think it is really w__6__participating in this kind of activity because we can not only get exercise，but also support disadvantaged groups（弱势群体）.I suggest that more students offer their time in charitable（慈善）work—we can really learn a lot o__7__the classroom.
