Students Learn to Write with Both Hands

A small school in a village in India is gaining attention,because all 300 students of the school are ambidextrous.Data shows that only one p__1__of the global population is ambidextrous,but the ambitious founder of the school,called Veena Vandini School,is aiming to change that.

Veena Vandini School founder VP Sharma stated that he was i__2__to focus on ambidexterity training by India's first president Rajendra Prasad（in office from 1950 to 1962）.“I read in a magazine that Dr.Rajendra Prasad used to write with both hands.This inspired me to give it a try,”Mr.Sharma said.“Later when I set up my school in my village,I tried t__3__the students.”

“We began training students from standardⅠ，and by the time they reach standardⅢ，they are comfortable w__4__with both hands，”Sharma added.“Students of standardⅦandⅧcan write with speed and accuracy.What's more，they can write two scripts simultaneously，one with each hand.Students also know s__5__languages，including Urdu（乌尔都语）.”

E__6__45-minute class at Veena Vandini School includes 15 minutes of handwriting practice to help students develop the ability to write with both hands.VP Sharma also believes that the skill better e__7__students to learn different languages,and has them practice writing the same words in different languages at the same time.
