Background information

With China’s booming economy and improving living standard，the number of Chinese outbound tourists has increased dramatically.According to the National Tourism Administration and China Tourism Academy，in 2011，Chinese mainland tourists made 70.25 million trips to foreign countries，which was a 22 percent increase compared to 2010.In 2012，Chinese outbound tourism is expected to have 78.4 million passengers，which would be a growth of 12 percent.At the same time，the itineraries of Chinese tourists have changed，with in-depth and themed tours becoming key trends.
