Passage 1
Golden beaches
For most of us，Hawaii begins to weave her spell with some little glimmer of awareness.Golden beaches and golden people.Sun，sand，sea，and surf… And somewhere between the blue skies and the palm trees …we’re hooked（吸引）.
The Hawaiian Islands are one of the most beautiful places on earth.The weather is friendly.The temperature ranges from 60-90 degrees all year long.It’s a little warmer in summer，and a little cooler in winter，but every day is a beach day for somebody.
There are no strangers in Paradise.Perhaps the most beautiful part of Hawaii is the genuine warmth of people.We call it the spirit of Aloha.It has allowed a melting pot of cultures from all over the world to find common ground，and a new home，in this most gentle of places.
Notes:
1.hook做名词，通常指钓鱼时使用的“鱼钩”，并由此引申出一系列词汇和用法。
（1）hook，line and sinker本来是钓鱼时使用的工具，但放在一起组成片语，就成了“全部”的意思，通常还带有受骗的意思。
（2）短语hook up，意思是“介绍认识”，比如某人正在找份工作，他的朋友刚好认识比尔盖兹（Bill Gates），他就可以跟这位朋友说:Hey! Since you’re a friend of Bill’s，why don’t you hook me up?嘿！既然你是比尔的朋友，帮我介绍一下吧!
2.Aloha
ALOHA是夏威夷最常见的问候语，依语调不同，分别有“你好”、“欢迎”、“珍重”、“再见”等意。“ALOHA”还有“我爱你”的意思，要表达此意，须先攒足底气，让那“LO”声高而且长，拖到将要断气，表达爱之至深至切。
3.all day/night long整天/夜
An idle young man finds fun in seeking casual joy and love all day long.
一个无所事事的年轻人整天在肤浅的喜悦和爱情中寻找快乐。
He didn’t sleep a wink last night because he kept cough all night long.
他昨夜无法成眠，因为他整夜都在咳嗽。.
all和long之间，可以使用任意一个表示时间的名词，如month，year等，这句话的意思也就要相应的变成“整月/年”等。另外，all day和all day long意思差不多，区别在于后者更强调这段时间全部用来做一件事。

Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland is a resort area located on Hong Kong Disneyland theme park，which is Disney’s fifth seat Disneyland.Hong Kong MTR Disneyland Resort Line has dedicated railway between Sunny Bay Station and Disneyland Station，the second around the world and from Disney’s railway line.Hong Kong Disneyland theme song “Let the Magic fly” by the Hong Kong Disneyland spokesperson Jacky Cheung singer.The park’s official communication language is English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
Hong Kong Disneyland has some unique attractions，the two Disney themed hotels，as well as exciting shopping，dining and entertainment facilities.Featured attractions include the Dream scenic Main Street USA，Adventureland，Fantasyland and Tomorrowland，in the park can also be find a Disney cartoon character Mickey Mouse，Winnie the Pooh，Mulan，Cinderella，Sleeping Beauty and so on.
Hong Kong Disneyland area of 126 hectares，is the world’s smallest Disneyland.However，the next theme park there are multi-phase expansion project，the first phase of the expansion project currently under construction.Paradise generally cover four subject areas，similar to other Disney theme park，including:Main Street USA，Adventureland，Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
Hong Kong Disneyland is the world’s fifth model in the construction of Disneyland，Disney’s 10th theme park world，and the first under California Disney (including the Sleeping Beauty Castle)theme park modeled.Four tourists visiting Hong Kong Disneyland will be temporarily away from the real world，into the colorful fairy tale kingdom，feel the future of the mysterious land of fantasy and thrills of the adventure in the world.In addition to well-known Disney classic stories and recreational facilities，the Hong Kong Disneyland is also the cultural characteristics of Hong Kong，the idea of some of Hong Kong set for recreational facilities，entertainment shows and parades.
