You must have seen this man somewhere—funny-looking, always in a jacket and a red tie. He seldom talks but always a 1 humorously. Who is he? Yes, he is the well-known Mr. Bean.
In the 1990s, Mr. Bean became a star. Its f inal episode Good Night, Mr. Bean was shown on October 31st, 1995. During its f ive-year run, the series gained a large audience in the U.K. and t 2 the world. Mr. Bean often seems u 3 of basic aspects of the way the world works, and the program usually features his attempts at what would normally be considered simple tasks, such as going swimming, using a television set. The humour largely comes from his original s 4 to any problems.
His method of acting was to appear uncertain, look around and then do exactly the wrong thing. Children, particularly, would b 5 into laughter at his behavior. The role of Mr. Bean is played by Rowan Atkinson—an Oxford University graduate. Atkinson is considered to be a great comedian in the style of Charlie Chaplin.
