The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China held high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics and made a comprehensive plan and deployment for my country's economic development from a strategic overall perspective. Following the pace of the new era, the development of Tianjin's lawyer career has reached a new level. The 7th Tianjin Lawyers Association led the city's lawyers to comprehensively implemented the five in one general layout of economic construction, political construction, cultural construction, social construction and ecological civilization construction around the grand strategic goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way. 天津律师行业的发展离不开各级领导的关心和重视，在各级领导的关怀、支持和全市广大律师的共同努力下，天津律师业呈现出良好的发展态势。从2012年到2015年，全市律师从5217人增长至7513人，增长了44%；律师事务所从563家发展至833家，增长了48%。全市律师共办理诉讼案件170519件，非诉讼法律事务38138件，担任政府、企事业单位法律顾问24347家，总收入60.06亿元，业务收入逐年增长，分别为29.8%、19.3%、43.8%和29.7%。三名律师担任中共天津市第十一次党代会代表，93名律师担任各级人大代表与政协委员，比第六届律师协会增长了35%。天津市律师协会也多次被评为天津市先进社会组织。
The development of Tianjin's lawyer industry is inseparable from the care and attention of leaders at all levels. With the care and support of leaders at all levels and the joint efforts of lawyers throughout the city, the Tianjin lawyer industry has shown a good development trend. From 2012 to 2015, the number of lawyers in the city increased from 5,217 to 7,513, an increase of 44%; law firms grew from 563 to 833, an increase of 48%. The city's lawyers handled 170,519 litigation cases, 38,138 non-litigation legal affairs, and acted as legal counsel for the government, enterprises and institutions in 24,347, with a total income of 6.006 billion yuan, and business income increased year by year, respectively 29.8%, 19.3%, 43.8% and 29.7 %. Three lawyers served as representatives of the 11th Party Congress of the Communist Party of China in Tianjin, and 93 lawyers served as representatives of the People's Congress at all levels and members of the CPPCC, an increase of 35% over the previous session. Tianjin Lawyers Association has also been rated as an advanced social organization in Tianjin for many times.
