A.W riting Skills
启事（Notice）是一种公告性应用文。景区景点有事需向游客说明，或提出要求，可把要说的意思简要地写成启事，张贴于布告栏等处，特别重要或紧要的以及涉及面广的还需登报。
启事在正文上方居中的地方往往有NOTICE或Notice一词作为标志。启事正文的下方，左下角一般写发出启事的日期；发出启事的单位名称写在右下角，也可写在启事正文的前面（此两项有时可省）。发出启事的一方和被通知的一方一般都以第三人称出现。如果正文前用了称呼语，通知的对象则应是第二人称。但有的启事需要写明地址。

Notes：
1）英文启示中很常见的一个词就是request（要求），它比ask正式，比demand语气委婉。其常用结构为：to request sb.to do sth./to be requested to do sth./to request that sb.（should）do sth./It is requested that sb.（should）do sth.。
2）汉语启示中最后常有“谨请注意”字样，英文通知中要表示同样的意思，一般放在句首，例如：Readers are requested to note that…
3）英文通知中表示“希望……”、“建议……”等，通常不用主动语态，而用被动形式，例如：It is hoped that…（希望……），It is desired that…（要求……），It is decided that…（决定……），It is suggested that…（建议……），It is recommended that…（建议……），It is expected that…（希望……）。如：Passengers are requested to note that the new timetable comes into effect from May 1，2014.（旅客请注意，新的行车时间表从2014年5月1日起实行。）
