Dialog Ⅱ A Com p laint about Holiday度假客人投诉
A tourist arrives at the Summer Travel Service to make comp laints about the holidays spent in Thailand and claim compensation.
Staff:Good morning,can Ihelp you?
Client:I'd like tomake a complaint aboutmy holiday in Thailand lastweek.
Staff:I'm sorry to hear that. What exactly was the problem?
Client:First of all,the coach taking us to the hotel broke down and we had to wait for over two hours in the sweltering heat before a replacement arrived. Then when we got to the hotelwe found our room hadn'tbeen cleaned.
Staff:Oh dear, did you complain to the hotel staff?
Client:Of course, but we were told all the chambermaids were off duty.Anyway, that's not all.The people in the room above sounded like they were having all-night parties every night.I demanded another room, but the receptionist told me the hotel was full.
Staff:Oh,I see.I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the usual good service at this hotel.
Client:And the worst is that the food in the hotel restaurantwas awful.Itwas so bad we had to eat out all the time despite having paid formeals in the package of our holiday.
Staff:Ido apologize.I'd like to offer you a 20%discounton the price of one of our Autumn breaks as a gesture of goodwill.
Client:A 20%discount,you must be joking!Iwant to see themanager!
Staff:Well,I'll find themanager for you right away.③
