授课对象为七下学生。学生首次接触情态动词can。本节以sports导入，复习7 A Unit 5的同时，引入话题Talent show，激发学生的学习积极性。教师希望通过本节复习，帮助学生回顾7B Unit 1中情态动词can的用法，从而较好地理解并掌握用情态动词can表述自己的能力，进而达成本单元的教学目标。另外，本课内容能够帮助学生辨析动词play与运动项目结合和与乐器结合的不同用法，以及辨析talk，tell，speak，say四个意思相近词的用法。
Learning Objectives
By the end of the class，students are expected to
◆master the words and expressions about school activities，especially the verb play；
◆learn to talk about abilities by using modal verb can and tell the differences among the verbs talk，tell，speak and say；
◆know that school activities are considered as an important part of school education；
◆realize the importance of developing skills and qualities such as teamwork，responsibility and confidence.
