九年级的学生正在经历青春期，向往自由，规则的教育在这个阶段必不可少。学生在七年级下册的Unit 4中学过关于规章制度的内容，九年级的Unit 7中涉及should be allowed to do，所以学生已经有了充分的语言基础和话题基础为本课的学习做铺垫。本课在此基础上进行延伸和拓展，引导学生结合生活实际自由谈论生活规则（校规、家规、图书馆规则、博物馆规则等），发表自己的观点，并陈述同意或不同意的理由，还可以根据实际情况描述家规和自己的评价，体现“为用而学、在用中学、学了就用”的新课程理念。
Learning Objectives
By the end of the class，students are expected to
◆talk about different life rules with should，don't...，can't...，have to/must...，be allowed to do；
◆express their own opinions on different rules；
◆state their own reasons on their agreement or disagreement on rules；
◆obey the rules and treat them in a right way；
◆understand the importance of rules in their life.
Teaching Focuses&Learning Difficulties
◆Teaching focuses：T offers different activities in different situations like school rules，library rules，museum rules and family rules，which can guide Ss to use target language to describe rules and express opinions on the rules.
◆Learning difficulties：Ss may find it difficult to output the writing about rules by themselves.So enough scaffolding is necessary，which include different multi-modal activities like talking time，listening time and reading time.With the help of activities，Ss can write their own family rules.
