七下Unit 2的话题是学生最为熟悉的日常作息习惯，在这单元里，学生学习了日常生活中的相关词汇和时间的表达法，能够运用常见的频率副词谈论他人的作息时间安排并介绍自己的日常作息习惯。在七下Unit 6，学生学习了用现在进行时谈论日常生活中人们在干什么。通过这两个单元的学习，学生对于一般现在时和现在进行时的结构和时态特征有了一定的理解，但是要熟练切换两种时态，谈论日常生活还是有一定困难的。本节复习课将以教材里在美国学习的深圳男孩朱辉为主角创设一系列的情境，进一步帮助学生巩固和掌握一般现在时和现在进行时，并进行与端午节相关的文化和家国情怀渗透。
