授课对象为七年级下的学生,他们对周末活动的英语表达已有初步积累。通过七下Unit 12的学习,学生已经对如何描述过去发生的事情有了初步的掌握,同时对周末活动的话题介绍有了比较清楚的文章结构意识,也积累了丰富多彩的周末各类活动表达用语,能用恰当的形容词抒发情感。周末活动是学生非常感兴趣的话题。学生应该通过复习,以旧带新,完善对周末活动这一话题的表述与认知。随着生活水平的提高,学生的周末活动越来越丰富,但是学业压力也在逐步增加。教师应引导学生认识到丰富的周末活动的重要性,即“只学习不玩耍,聪明杰克也变傻”。但是也要引导学生认识到周末只顾休闲,不顾学习,也是不可取的,要争取做到学习和周末活动的平衡。
