七年级学生在学到七下Unit 9时，应能比较熟练地进行自我介绍，同时能够介绍他人和辨认人物，对中西方姓名文化的差别也有了一定的了解。这个年龄段的学生对自己的外貌比较关注和敏感，对用英语描述人物外貌这个话题比较感兴趣，教师要让大部分学生掌握使用He is...和He has...这两个句子结构描述外貌。在谈论亲人、朋友和身边的人时，也要让学生意识到互帮互助和爱的重要性。
