Analysis of Learners

学生对自己家乡的背景并不陌生,且在其的成长过程中都有其所珍视的物品,而学生也有浓厚的兴趣向他人介绍自己的家乡和社区以及最喜爱的物品。此外,学生虽对指路和过去完成时有一定的知识储备,对since和for在现在完成时中的应用也并不陌生,但是在灵活运用该语法和相关句式表达自我想法以及正确地指明方向方面还有一定的困难。

因此本节复习课以Living Environment为话题,对七年级下册Unit 8如何为他人正确指路和八年级下册Unit 10的描述家乡和最喜爱物品的相关内容进行复习,并在所设置的3个场景“Is there a bank near here?”“My hometown is full of interesting places to see and things to do.”“Old things really bring back sweet memories.”中穿插使用上述两个单元的相关单词和句型,以此进行单元整合复习。

Learning Objectives

By the end of the class,students are expected to

◆ask for and give directions correctly by using go along,turn right/left;

◆talk about places in hometown by using present perfect tense with since and for;

◆introduce their favorite thing from childhood which they still have in three paragraphs by using correct tense.
