七下的学生通过七上Unit 6的学习，已具备相关食物话题的语言积累，对这一话题有一定的生活基础。通过七下Unit 10的学习，学生已经掌握各种食物名称及点餐的基本表达，同时也了解到世界各地的人们不同的饮食文化，视野得以开阔，文化意识得以熏陶，学生的学习兴趣也被激发。学生通过以上两个单元的学习，已经掌握了基本的词汇、句型以及相关话题的语言知识。学生应该通过复习，以旧带新，完善自己对于饮食这一话题的表述与认知。随着生活水平的提高，可供人们选择、为人们所喜爱的食物越来越多，但是初中阶段学生挑食的现象普遍存在，教师有必要引导学生养成健康的饮食习惯。
