The design and goal of the training:
After the air writing practice of each character is done,the students are asked to practice writing of the same character of a big size on a piece of paper with a marker or on water-writing paper(special paper which needs no ink).In this process,the movement of air writing will progress to actual writing practice.The purpose is to start training the students to do actual character writing to enhance the image of the character built up in their brains from the first cycle.

The air writing practice continues into these weeks,just adding the process,in which the students are asked to write down the character formed in their minds from the air writing practice on a piece of paper with a marker or waterwriting paper into a big-size character(about 5 cm).This gives the students a clear visual experience of Chinese character strokes,stroke orders,and constituent elements as well as the process of putting all these things together to form a character on a piece of paper with a marker or brush.When finishing writing each character,it is read many times,the students read after the teacher the words formed by this character once,the English meaning of the word is spoken out once.The students then repeat the process several times.The practice variations from the last cycle may also be adopted to make the training more interesting.
