One feature of the translation of the work report is evident：the frequent use of nominalization.For example，“兼顾各类人员”is translated into“give due consideration to the interests of people”instead of“consider people's interests”.

Considering the fact that the structure of nouns is better able to compress and generalize information while omitting subjects of act to deliver a relatively objective tone，the frequent use of nouns in Chinese-to-English translation makes the documents more official，sentences more terse and compact，and the overall expression more in line with Westerners'language habits.The application of such noun skills to College Entrance Exam can be seen as follows.

Example 1“解释得令我十分满意”is translated into“...explains to my satisfaction”.

Example 2“我们需要的不是彼此的埋怨，而是相互帮助”is translated into“what we need is not mutual complaint but mutual help”.
