The title“Woguo Ce’niguo”means twelve tunes of epic songs,which narrates the various customs,rites,and institutions.The whole book is divided into two volumes,with each volume containing twelve poems.The first volume tells the history of the gods and the second volume tells the history of human beings.The poems in the two volumes can be combined or separated.The poems can be sung as a whole or in separation.Appropriate parts can be selected according to the different ceremonial occasions.
