The Story of Chunxiang

The Story of Chunxiang（Chun Xiang Zhuan in Chinese）is a well-known literary masterpiece of the Korean ethnic group.

Young girl Chunxiang came across Li Menglong,son of a high rank officer in Daoyuan County,when she went spring out.They fell into love and got married secretly.Soon,Li Menglong’s father was sent to work in the capital,so Li Menglong,to the capital with his parents,had to say goodbye with Chunxiang.Bian Xuedao,a new mayor forced Chunxiang as his concubine.Chunxiang,resisted firmly,was put into prison.Li Menglong,passing the imperial examination,was appointed as an inspector who could inspect the officers across the nation.He came to Daoyuan County and found out Bian Xuedao’s evil truth.Bian Xuedao was punished while Chunxiang and Li Menglong were reunited.(https://www.daowen.com)
