The Apeicongpopo of Hani Ethnic Minority(Ha Ni A Pei Cong Po Po in Chinese)is an epic about the migration of Hani ethnic minority,which spreads in Hani’s community in the Red River Drainage Area.It is one of the long epics that systematically record the history of Hani ethnic minority.

The Apeicongpopo of Hani Ethnic Minority is recited by Zhu Xiaohe.It is collected and translated into Chinese by Duan Kuangle,Yang Shukong,Shi Junchao,Lu Chaogui and others.

This epic contains 5,500 lines and seven chapters.It tells about the complete migration route of Hani people from north to south in China.The epic describes the causes and routes of Hani people’s migration to various places as well as Hani people’s social life,religion and ethnic relations in detail.

With diverse description methods,high literary value and high historical value,The Apeicongpopo of Hani Ethnic Minority has been the crowning achievement of Hani people’s traditional literature.
