It is a legend that Guiguiyang is a smart Tujia girl.Her mother died,and her father married a stepmother.Stepmother abused her cruelly,often beating and scolding her.After a while,she was tortured to death.She changed into a gray migratory bird,coming to Tujia copycat and crying loudly in spring and summer.Its cry is telling the story of its miserable fate.
