发展简史（Brief History of Development）

泰国原名暹罗，大约在5000年前泰国所在的地区就有人类居住。公元6世纪时，中国南部的部分傣族人南迁至中南半岛，定居于湄公河流域，建立了一些小国家，这就是今天泰国的祖先。1238年傣族人建立了一个独立的王朝——素可泰王朝。1350年湄南河流域的乌通王在阿瑜陀耶建立了大城王朝。大城王朝历经33位君主，历时417年。1767年大城王朝覆灭，出现了吞武里王朝。15年后又出现咖达纳哥王朝，该王朝迁都曼谷，又称“曼谷王朝”。泰国逐步趋向安定。
