Sarawak(沙捞越)
Sarawak is one of the two Malaysian states on the island of Borneo.Sarawak has an equatorial climate with tropical rainforests and abundant animal and plant species.The state has several prominent cave systems at Gunung Mulu National Park.Sarawak Museum is the oldest museum in Borneo.Cultural performances are also presented here.Sarawak Museum houses a collection of artefact such as pottery,textiles,and woodcarving tools from various ethnic tribes in Sarawak,and also ethnographic materials of loca lcultures.The museum building preserves its French architecture.Sarawak Cultural Village is located at the foot of Mount Santubong,Kuching.Known as the“living museum”,it showcases the various ethnic groups carry out traditional activities in their respective traditiona lhouses.Mir iis a coasta lcity in northeastern Sarawak,Malaysia.Miri is the main tourist gateway to Gunung Mulu National Park,Loagan Bunut National Park,Lambir Hills National Park,Niah National Park and Miri-Sibuti Coral Reef National Park.
